What I did In April
Okay- I have to admit- I'm stopping the 5 things to do and weekly update. I just don't like sharing that much of my life on a weekly basis and it didn't really help me stay productive. Plus I might include something different on Saturday's instead.
Anyway- I will share what I actually did in April.
I have been staying on the couch in my living room this month because my dad had surgery recently and I didn't want my dog to sleep alone because he doesn't like going downstairs and he doesn't like it when I sleep with him in their bedroom. It's been kind of relaxing honestly and there's a bigger TV in the living room with more streaming services... so I've been utilizing those... which brings me to the next thing I've been doing.
I was talking a lot about movies in the 2000s after I saw Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among thieves- so I have been watching a lot of movies from the 2000s. I will talk about all the movies I watched this month in my Movie wrap up post... but I've also written a masterlist basically of every movie that I can remember from each year- and those will be in my early morning blogs for May. So far its just the movies of the 2000s and it's just anything I remember seeing or hearing about via a poster or trailer or something... but its an extensive list and I will eventually do it for other years too.
I went to my friend and her husband's house for a game night and pizza- which was really fun. I haven't really hung out with my friends and my boyfriend together and that was just nice to have us all together. I also went to the movies with my boyfriend and his friends to see The Super Mario Bros Movie and that was really really fun.We hung out after and got food- which was great!
Then it was Easter! I love Easter- my niece had a lot of fun, my family all came over and I spent time with everyone. My mom got a Ham which was really really good. I went to my grandmother's house with my boyfriend to visit her too... so that was a fun and great day overall.
I closed at the store I work at 3 days in a row this month which was just kind of a scheduling mistake but it wasn't really that bad. I do have a longer weekend off coming up in May so I'm happy about that. My bosses felt bad that they scheduled me for that many closings in a row...but it was fine. I got them all done at that time and then I don't close again until this weekend so it isn't that bad.
I also had a project at work. We usually only do this particular project once a year and usually we don't have that much stuff to do for the project... but this time we did have a lot to do. And we had to do it early in the morning... so getting ready for that and worrying for that was a good chunk of the month. We got it done though! It was satisfying and we were able to do it pretty quickly!
That's pretty much all the noteworthy things that I did in April. I hope you like this! I'll probably do a monthly wrap up type of blog at the end of every month.
Bye!
-Shannon
