Weekly Favorites 7.23.21: Frugal, Fancy, Fragrance, Fashion, Favorites Friday!

Hey guys happy Friday for the week! I feel like I found a really great new Drugstore product... so I'm so especially excited!

Frugal

My frugal favorite is the new Wet n Wild Wild Crush line... I picked up a few things and honestly... they don't look like much and they don't swatch well at all... but I got some great looks with these! I got 3 of the palettes, In Love with Cocoa, Passion Fruit and Cherry. I wore In Love With Cocoa and I liked that... and today I wore the Passion Fruit and LOVED my look. And Passion Fruit kind of looks the crappiest if you just look at it... but the look I got with this was SO SO Pretty and it lasted me ALL through work... and I didn't even use my Juvia's Place Primer. I was impressed.

I also got the Cherry Blush duo and both the shades in this duo are really pretty and they last a long time too. They're sooo pigmented and they're kind of hard... but they look pretty on.

And I got the Cherry shade of the lip set also... this comes with a pencil liner and a gloss that almost seems like a lip oil... and they look really pretty together. The liner is really sticky so it seems like it should last a long time... it didn't really with just the gloss on top- but I still really like it.

I don't know if the shadows have a smell to them- but I feel like my blush has a cherry scent... and it's not like a medicinal scent- it smells like a nice cherry.

The real standout of the week I feel like are the palettes- but I felt the need to mention everything... even though I want to do a review and I'll probably mention the same things.

Fancy

My Fancy favorite is probably the Tarte Maneater Mascara. I used a different mascara for a bit... the new Uoma by Sharon C one... and I don't dislike it but I don't love it. I used the Tarte Maneater Mascara after that and I was like "Ohhh... this is good!" It's easy to use too... so I just love it.

I should also mention the Sheseido lash curler... which is also the best lash curler I've ever used. I don't use lash curlers all the time... but I'm starting to understand the process now and this lash curler is just awesome.

Fragrance

Another older favorite but a good one... In The Stars from Bath and Body Works. This is one I always love- I have a mini size and a full size because I use it so so often... but I rediscovered it this week and I love it!

Fashion

My Erstwilder Silly Willy Wagtail Brooch. I was super super lucky to get this one... and at first I was kind of like "huh idk about this. Maybe I should sell it." But now I kind of love it.

Favorites

Monster's at Work! This is a really fun show... the third episode I think is my favorite so far. I watched it right on Wednesday after I got home from work... and it was great. It reminded me so much of the original movie- there are a lot of good details from Monster's University too... but I'm so happy they show the follow up to the movie in this series... I really like it.
