Weekly Favorites 4.12.24

Alright it’s been a while since I’ve done my weekly Favorites but here they are!

I’ve been loving both of the books I’m reading. I’ve probably finished Hothouse Flower by now- which is the second book of the Calloway Sisters series and the first book with Daisy and Ryke as the main character. I love them as characters and I think they might be my favorite couple of all of them… but there’s one thing I kind of don’t like in the book… I plan on doing a full post of each of the books I’ve read so far this year… so I’ll discuss what I don’t like on that… BUT overall I really like this book and I’d recommend it for sure.

And honestly this one you could kind of read stand alone.

The other book I’m reading and listening to is Daughter of The Moon Goddess. I really like reading with other things in the background… like I’ll read on my lunch break, I’ll read while I watch tv… but for some reason I was having some trouble getting into the world of this book- I’m a little newer to fantasy books… so i ended up listening to the book on Hooplah while reading along… and the audiobook for this is great too. So even though now I’m into the book enough to read it on its own- it’s a good audio book so I keep listening to it. It’s a really good story! I like the characters in this one a lot!

The People’s Joker I just saw and did my review and New York posts this week. I LOVED it it was a really great movie! I want to see it again but I don’t know if it’s still in any theaters near me. You have to see it though if you get an opportunity- it’s great!

I’ve also been watching a lot of Twin Peaks lately and I love that show. I’m almost done with it at this point. The second season is kind of bad… but I still really like the town.

I also bought some makeup recently- well yesterday so I didn’t use it a whole lot- but I really like the Juvia’s Place I am Magic Glow Radiance Booster. This is great! It’s sort of like the Elf foundation that I really like- but it’s different.

I also got the Colourpop Ultra Blotted Lip- I don’t think I’ve ever tried these before! I was going to get an ultra matte lip- but then I realized I hadn’t tried the blootted lip and I love the way it looks on my lips. It makes them look so natural… I’ve gotta get some more of these!
