Wayne Goss Deluxe Surprise Box
Ever Since I heard about it- I wanted to purchase a Beautylish Lucky Bag... and every year- I haven't been able too. Whether I wake up late and it's sold out, whether I decide its too much money, or I have work and it sells out while I have work. This year I had a notification alert set up for it... and I don't think I ever got it... plus I was at work. I was a little upset... but at the same time... I feel like the Lucky Bags have gotten worse in the past few years. Since they've launched the Lucky Bag XL... its less of a deal because you won't be surprised with something like a Natasha Denona palette or something... you'll probably just get regular products. They also have a separate Jeffree Star Lucky Bag... which is still available as of the time I'm writing this so MY GUESS is that they're having some trouble selling Jeffree Star products and there might be a few Jeffree Star products in Lucky Bags this year. I think they had them in last year... I like the Jeffree Star Cosmetics products I have but I do not like Jeffree Star so... I wouldn't want any more of his products. Even if its in a Lucky Bag.
Anyway so I was bummed about that but I was still like "you know... I want to spend my Christmas Money on some Luxury Makeup. I want to try some Wayne Goss. Let's see what they have." And Wayne Goss had his own mystery bags! I was so so excited! I've never tried anything from Wayne Goss and I didn't know where to start... this basically has a full face of Wayne Goss Makeup in it and it was a lot of stuff I wanted to try at a lower price than the original. They have different shades - I think Light, Medium and Dark. I got the Light shade.
I'm patiently waiting for it to get here- they had free Expedited shipping for the box which is awesome! But I will update you all when it gets here, what's inside (I looked it all up already because... I'm not going to spend $150 on a mystery box. I don't really want to be surprised that much lol!) But I'm excited for it!
Several Weeks Later…
Okay- so my original box was lost in transit… so I had to contact beautylish- ask whats up and they sent me a new box. It just came on Friday!
So in the mystery box I got One Bronzing Palette, One Blush Palette, one Eye Palette, 2 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses, 3 lip liners and 2 eyeliners. Basically a full face of makeup with a few different color options! So… that was awesome!
Im going to start with the eye palette because I think I got a different one than most people did. In most boxes I’ve seen they had his first palette which is the Imperial Topaz- which looks like a really nice palette and maybe I’ll buy it… but I got the newest palette in Tourmaline. This has a lot of burgundy types of shades with some golds and browns. It’s really nice and easy to use… and I like that it’s only 6 pans… makes the looks a little easier.
Next up… I’ll talk about the Bronzer. I got the Light Gold Shade- they gave different options for different skin tones and i have very fair skin- so I went with light and honestly… this is the perfect bronzer and contour for me! It’s just a nice, light sun kissed shade. it’s just right! I love it!
The Blush Palette I got was was in Peony and this comes with a blush and a highlight… and it’s beautiful! The highlight in it is so nice and glowy. It’s… really really pretty!
Alright so now the lip products! I was pretty excited about these too because I could always use more lipstick right? The 2 shades I got are really really similar. I got Camilla and Cashew. They feel really nice and creamy- they are very light- but they’re easy to use the different lip liners with to get a different look. Yesterday I wore Camilla with the Sepia lip liner on top… it was really pretty. Maybe it was Cashew I used… idk they’re so similar.
So yeah the lip liners are really nice too. I got Sepia-which is a little mauve-y, Light Nude which is a very light nude pink and Natural Berry- which is a darker pink color. I’ve used Sepia and Natural Berry. These are really nice- they blend with the lip colors nicely and with the glosses they look nice too. They aren’t the creamiest- but they don’t feel too rough or drying.
The Lip glosses I got are Tulip and Hyacinth- I don’t like the way gloss feels under a mask so I haven’t been wearing gloss as much… but these are both really nice colors and I have Tulip on now and it’s nice and shiny and very neutral.
Last but not least… well compared to everything maybe it’s the thing I’ll use the least… the Eyeliners! I don’t usually wear liner but these feel really nice and they’re surprisingly easy to use. And they last all day so that’s good. I got the shade Precious Opal- which is brown. I was hoping it was a lighter shimmer cause opals are usually light and shimmery. I still wear brown more than black so I liked it a lot. I also got blue sapphire- which is a nice blue shade. It didn’t swatch too blue- but it will be fun for a nice pop of color.
These are some pictures from the look I did yesterday. I really loved how it turned out. I’m also wearing the Too Faced Born This Way Matte Foundation, the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and the Fenty beauty mascara. The Lipstick I have on is Camilla I think with the Sepia liner on top. I also powdered my under eyes a bit with the Hourglass infinity Powder.
Bye! -Shannon
