Useful Gifts Gift Guide

I kind of think I'll do gift guides for my Thursday posts even though I feel like I've done a lot of gift guides through the years... today I'm going to talk about useful gifts... stocking stuffer type things, maybe some Advent Calendar things, gifts just to let someone know you're thinking about them.

Okay so one thing I think is useful that I got my boyfriend years ago and he still uses a lot today is a multi tool type of thing that you can leave in your wallet and it fits like a card. He uses this all the time and it's easy for him to get to... any multi tool is a great gift I think but this one I think is particularly something they won't buy themself and it's very easy to store and use.

Okay this one is kind of lame but...this is very purposeful. So I live with my parents and I share a bathroom with them and usually we get our toothbrushes from the dentist- they give us good ones and that's just what they use. Recently they gave my mom a pink one... which is a problem because pink is MY color... sooo... I got another tootbrush from tj maxx- no big deal- but now I saw that tj maxx came out with really cute toothbrushes that have soft bristles which is good. I got it for myself but I totally think this could be a good gift that solves a problem that sometimes we have.

If you're someone that is a couple and goes to couples parties a lot or your family has a lot of get togethers- I feel like games are a good way to make things a little more entertaining. Something like Cards Against Humanity is a good one... you could also go with something classic like Monopoly or something.

I would also say a useful kitchen gadget could be a good gift. I was going to suggest a coffee frother because I make coffee at home a lot... but there's a lot of useful kitchen stuff if you don't use a frother. They're great!

Blankets are also really great gifts and ones I totally recommend. I know the snoopy blankets at tj maxx are usually long enough for tall people like my boyfriend. I'm sure there are other tall blankets without Snoopy on it- but why would you buy something without snoopy on it when you could buy something with snoopy on it???

Okay this was meant to be stocking stuffers and a lot of these won't fit in a stocking obviously but... these are things that people will use and love.
