Thrift Store Haul

I popped some change with $23-ish dollars in my pocket. It was f-cking awesome.

So my boyfriend has this nice thrift store by him that's actually huge and has a lot of everything. I didn't go to the clothes section of the store- although it looked like they had cool stuff. We got all dvds and books... and we found some cool stuff and we each spent about $20.

So 3 of the things he gave me were actually Comic Books- I found a Smokey Bear comic... which we might end up giving to his local comic book shop...It kind of made us laugh so we picked it up. He also got 2 Bob's burgers comics and gave them to me because he's never really watched Bob's Burgers... and I did for a little bit. So... there's those!

I got 3 books. 2 were actually from Reese Witherspoon's book club and one's I've heard of and wanted to read. The Alice Network by Kate Quinn and The Guest List by Lucy Foley. I actually have another one of Lucy Foley's books and it sounded interesting... so I'm excited to read that. And I got Gone Girl because my sister took my copy and that was my favorite book and I want to read it again.

I got some dvds too. So years ago there was nothing on TV and my mom ended up watching Napoleon Dynamite... and she knew it was kind of bad- but that's why it's kind of funny. I like the movie too and it was 99 cents.

I also found an Old Care Bears DVD... which I Was really excited about. I didn't think I'd ever see Old Care Bears again- and now I have it! And I can show it to my niece which is awesome.

And they had a Hello Kitty Dvd set! I love Sanrio and Hello Kitty and I've never seen this... so I had to get it!

And I got Muppets Christmas Carol on Blu Ray. I think I've bought this twice... 1 copy I couldn't find and one copy... I'm not sure if it's on DVD or On Blu Ray... but there is one version that has the song "The Love is Gone" and one that does not. I don't know if either version I have has that song... but that was my favorite song as a kid and it was only on the VHS and maybe one version of the dvd or Blu Ray. Disney Plus does not have it... so I need to figure this out and for just a few dollars... I needed to buy it.

I think that was everything I bought. My boyfriend also bought the book Ms. Perrigrine's School for Peculiar Children and the Space Jam soundtrack... along with a lot of other things.

So overall... successful trip!
