Alright guys I did this not too long ago- I'm going to try it one more time.

In Memorium

Okay- we're going to start off with childhood Shannon's biggest Heartbreak: Aaron Carter has passed away. I was actually going to do a whole post dedicated to him because I know he has been very questionable lately, threatening to kill his brother Nick and his family among... several other terrible things but... this guy was my first big celebrity crush, my first concert, my first musical was seeing him in Seussical... I loved Aaron Carter and I wished he had had a better life. I wish his parents hadn't pressured him to be a star- I think his mom also took a lot of his money in a lawsuit... it's just so sad that he really didn't have much of a chance... and there should be laws and wellness checks for child stars so that messed up things like this don't happen to them.

Also we sadly lost the comedian Gallagher who I JUST mentioned in my weird Al video. My sister loved him when I was little- so I was familiar with his comedy and his very famous watermelon smashing. It's sad that my favorite childhood singer and my sisters favorite childhood comedian died the same week... that just hits hard.

The voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy also passed away this week. I watched some of the Batman Animated Series and probably some Batman movies he was in.

Casting News

I think this has been in the news for a while- definitely before the last time I posted but Tobin Bell is returning to the Saw franchise- which I am SO excited about. I would say the Saw Franchise might be my favorite horror movie franchise and the 2 things I like most about the saw movies are Tobin Bell and the theme: Hello Zepp.

We also have one of my favorite writer/ actor/ musicians joining a series based off of a book series that I love: Lin Manuel Miranda is joining the Disney+ Percy Jackson series. I am really excited- he will be playing Hermes. There was also a Percy Jackson musical... I feel like maybe the reviews were bad but... I wonder if this is to try to bring some elements from the musical in it!

Vague News

So this story is very vague cause I only heard about it on a tv break from a tv show... and I'm not sure it's even a show that was on this week. It could have been older... but a tunnel was found in Egypt and they believe somehow it might hide some secrets about Cleopatra... that's just cool. They showed the pyramids on the news segment... idk if it was in the pyramids... idk if the cleopatra thing was real. I could look it up but I don't really want to cause sometimes this is just fun to speculate. What could it be?

On TV This Week

So this week I watched Dancing With The Stars- I really like this show. Vinny Guadinino and Heidi D'amilio got eliminated. There was a relay dance this week and I like watching those. It was 90s night. there were some good dances and some good music. Salt and Peppa and Vanilla Ice performed live... it was just really good overall.

Also caught up a bit on American Horror Story NYC... I want this season to be better. It's got almost no horror in it- the actors aren't as good as they usually are... and they keep doing my least favorite thing which is... we know who the Mai Tai killer is- the characters know who he is... but they keep showing it like it's a huge reveal. It's terrible.

I caught up a little on The Masked Singer- I watched TV nignt and Andrew Llyod Webber night... I was shocked that Mario Cantone was such a great singer. I'm glad he's showcasing it so much- it seems like he's getting more and more famous now. Also Gloria Gaynor was amazing. I've had Don't Cry For Me Argentina stuck in my head for a few days now. Gloria Gaynor and the singer that's still masked did a great job of it!

And the best thing on TV this week was the Atlanta Finale! This was the series finale and it's a Darius episode that features a sensory deprivation tank... it's the best finale for the show and the second best episode of the season. Probably in the top 10 of the series.
