The Circles of Hell of Shopping
So- you guys know I love shopping... but here's what I absolutely hate about shopping: Coupons and deals. Basically I have a love hate relationship with Old Navy Supercash. Supercash is a coupon you earn by spending a certain amount at Old Navy during a certain date. And depending on when you spend and how much you spend determines how much supercash you get. And you can earn supercash when you redeem supercash... so it's like an endless cycle of just buying things, earning supercash and then buying more things.
So I'm pretty sure in Hell they just keep giving you supercash... only in Hell it's probably called Hell Dollars or something like that. They probably just keep giving you more and doubling your Hell Dollars every time you shop in Hell... and then obviously you need to buy more stuff and you need to use the coupon. And then you earn more coupons...
I think there's also probably a layer that's just you seeing something you want, not having a coupon for it and then the next day they send you a coupon and you've already bought the thing, and threw the receipt away so you can't price adjust it or they don't allow price adjusting... or Price Adjusting is just a level of hell in itself because usually actually going to the store costs more money than the savings that you'd get from adjusting the price.
Another layer of hell would probably be that you lose the coupon the day you need to use it and you don't find it until the day after it expires. This one happens to me all the time.
Actually I do all of these things all the time... so maybe I'm just in hell right now. Or maybe I just shop too much and I should stop or take a break. Someday maybe... Either way I feel like you get great deals by using old navy supercash... and also you really aren't saving anything because it's just making you buy more often than you need to.
Alright... so that's that. Weird post- I know... but I felt the need to express this. Especially since I just found Supercash...
Bye!
