Tbr Shelf kinda sorta

Okay- so right now beside my bed I have some books that I want to try to read this month, and some books I’m pretty sure I can read kind of fast so let’s get into that!

First off the other June books I want to read: 7 Days in June by Tia Williams and Heartbones by Colleen Hoover. Heartbones is a really short book and I’ve heard it’s good and it’s a summery book so I’m pretty excited about that one. 7 Days in June also has June in the title and I’ve heard this is a really beautiful book and it is by a black author about a black couple and I’m trying to not just read books by White British Women this year… which has been somewhat successful!But yeah I’m excited about that book too.

I have 2 books that I know I can probably read pretty quickly. One is a graphic novel and the other is an epistolary novel so it’s told through letters. Genderqueer by Maia Kobabe is a graphic novel autobiography (I think?) and it’s being brought up as a book that should be banned in certain states and I am not for that at all. I also have Love and Saffron- I’m not really sure what it’s about but it’s a bookseller I watch on TikTok’s favorite book so I ordered it through Bookshop. Org on her store and I’m excited to read it!

I also realized that I like smut… so I’ve got some spicy books on my shelf here. Priest, Sinner and Saint by Sierra Simone. I’ve heard these books are amazing. I also have Ricochet by Krista and Becca Ritchie which is the second book in the addicted series so I wanna read that soon. Plus it’s pretty short. And I have The Deal by Elle Kennedy from the Off Campus series on here. These are all books I think I can get Through kinda quickly.

I have 3 other books on here I’d like to read kinda soon too. Solitaire by Alice Oseman, I was reading this on my lunch break and then I wanted to read more James Bond books- so Ive been reading Casino Royale on my lunch breaks and I’ll probably switch soon. I have The Perfect Couple by Ellin Hilderbrand on here, I‘ve heard her books are really summery so I might get to that next month if not this month. And I have More than You’ll Ever Know by Katie Guitierrez on here- which is a murder mystery about a woman with 2 families and it’s the good morning America book club pick… so I want to see what their book clubs are like.

So that’s everything on the shelf right now. I’m not sure if I’ll get to all of it this month but I think I can get through a few and maybe start a few.
