Sunday News + Friday Favorites

I've been doing a pretty good job of actually posting here every day... but then I had a bad week... so when Friday favorites came around... I didn't really feel like I had any favorites to talk about and I didn't want to write about it... but I figure I'll combine it here. There also isn't a lot of news to write about so... yeah

The News

Tj Holmes and Amy Robach from GMA 3 have been pretty much confirmed that they're dating. The pair hasn't confirmed it themselves but... it's pretty obvious now. They both separated from their spouses and after bonding over their love of running- they got together.

Noah Galvin and Ben Platt are engaged! I really liked Ben Platt in The Politician and I like his singing. I never got to see Dear Evan Hansen but I do really like the music in it. Noah Galvin also played Evan Hansen so... that's kinda cute. I'm happy for them.

Samuel L Jackson and Quentin Tarantino are feuding now after Tarantino said that Marvel Actors aren't movie stars. Jackson said- no Chadwick Boseman was a star as Black Panther. I love the Marvel Movies obviously I 100% agree with Samuel L. Jackson... Especially now with the Chris Hemsworth Docuseries where he's had scans and found out how physically challenging the Marvel Movies are on him. Plus I feel like even in movies I don't like that much- like Black Widow- Scarlett Johansson did kind of give it her all and I don't think you can say that she's not a star- even in a kind of bad movie. Plus the character arcs in the Marvel Movies can be pretty intense and... I don't think it's fair to say they aren't real "stars" for their roles.

The Favorites

What a great show! I really liked watching this. I'm excited for more seasons! I think Jenna Ortega did a great job... I also really liked the rest of the Addam's cast and the school cast. There were some problems I had with it- but overall I really enjoyed watching it! It's my favorite show I've seen in a while!

Another show I've been watching kind of a lot lately is The Sopranos. My boyfriend has been watching it and I've just been kind of watching the episodes where he left off- so I haven't seen the whole arc of the show but it's okay. It's still very enjoyable and still a good show to this day!

The Masked Singer ended this week and that was really good! I figured out in the last episode that the Harp was "The girl that played Mercedes on Glee" aka Amber Riley. My friend thought the lambs were Wilson Phillips- I thought they were The Chicks. She was right! Overall I really liked this season- I thought the singers were all really good but obviously those two were the best for the competition!

On Thanksgiving I watched the Elton John concert on Disney Plus and that was really good. I really like Elton John's music and I always have. My parents danced to Your Song on their wedding. It was just really a good concert and I'm glad they filmed it for Disney Plus!

I also watched Freddy Vs. Jason and that was a really fun movie to watch. I've finished all the Freddy movies now- I'm not going to watch the new remake they did of that. I still have more Friday the 13th movies but... this one was really good. What a fun concept for the movie and they did a good job.
