Story Sunday: The Time I Ate At A Fancy Restaurant In My Pajamas

Alright- I've been trying to tell more stories on this blog... so Story Sunday will be when I tell all my stories and I'm starting with when I went to a fancy restaurant... in my Pajaams.

So I work in retail- and we try to do different fun things every month... and during Christmas we had a Christmas Pajama Day. I was excited... but I didn't want to wear any of my pajamas at work because I was afraid I'd have toothpaste stains on them or holes in it or something.. so I actually got new ones from Old Navy- Red and Black checkered flannel pajamas. I thought about bringing a pair of jeans or something but then thought "nahhh I'll just go home after work. It's fine!"

So I'm at work in my pajamas- and a lot of other people are too. Some of my managers are, some of the other co-workers are... it's all fun and everyone is having a good time. There was a little kid in the store that had the same pajamas I had on and he was really excited and his mom told me he was so excited and then I was excited- that pretty much made my day. It was a fun and exciting day.

Then my mom texts me saying "Daddy wants to take us to Moonstruck after you're out of work. Do you want to go with us." Moonstruck is a really really good restaurant near me- I go on special occasions and usually on the days where they have a special priced prefix meal. I highly recommend going if you haven't been... and you don't really have to dress fancy for it... but I didn't really want to go in my pajamas... but I didn't know if I'd have time to change so I said "Ohhh... are you guys okay if I go in my Pajamas?" And they in fact were okay that I went in my pajamas... especially since it would take a while to go back home and change and with moonstruck... you want to get there as close to opening as possible and it was already a half hour after.

So... No one said anything- I do think I got a few confused looks... but to be fair... they did kind of look like fancier pajamas. It was fancier than some of the other Christmas outfits I wore to work during the holidays but... yeah. I ate at a fancy restaurant in my pajamas.

It's comfy... I recommend it if you ever have the opportunity to eat at a fancy place in your pajamas. My parents were a little more dressed up- which also made things funny... but yeah. It was pajamas.

So there's my first Story Sunday... I'm excited for these!

Bye!

-Shannon
