Story Sunday: All That For A Piece of Paper
Alright- I need to write something down for work and I wanted to be super organized and professional about it... so I'd like to write a check list of the things that I'm checking and all the areas I'd write... it'd be nice to have a piece of paper. I have a little notebook in my pocketbook so I can just grab that from my locker and keep it in my pocket cause I'll probably lose a post it note.
Okay so I have my Starbucks in my locker... I know- I should keep it in the fridge- but it's not out that long and every time I did this in the past- it got thrown out... or possibly stolen. So anyway that's in my locker and I also had a big purse this day because I wanted to be super prepared for anything life threw at me that week. So it is a small locker- it was hard to get everything fitting in there. Plus I had a Mug and a Coffee Cup that keeps it warm so that I can heat it up and keep it warm a little longer. It's all very useful. But it created a tight locker and it was hard to get to the notebook.
I eventually get the notebook out- and decide to just take a piece of paper out of it so that no one sees my notes about all the movies I've taken notes on with this and possibly have spoilers and bad language (I was upset when I thought they killed my favorite Character in Avatar: The Way of Water!) so a piece of paper would do. I rip out the piece of paper- go to put everything back in my locker and OH NO! I spilled coffee!
So I take some time to clean out the coffee- it wasn't all the coffee- but it was enough to make a mess and get on the person who's locker is underneath mine... who is someone I like! And I thought I cleaned off her locker- but I guess some got IN the locker and her locker was closed and I didn't ask to open her locker to clean it because I was supposed to be doing something important which is why I got the paper.
And then I put the paper in a machine that was eventually used by other people and... I didn't even really end up needing the piece of paper in the first place. But I was super dramatic about my paper because I went through so much to get it I told everyone not to throw it out because it wasn't really useful- but I spilled coffee getting it. So yeah. I went through all this trouble just for a piece of paper I didn't use.
There's no moral of the story here... just be careful with your lockers I get.
Bye!
