Shannon’s Reviews: The Hadestown Soundtrack

Okay- so at the time I'm posting this I have probably already posted a review of the play Hadestown- but at the time I'm writing this I haven't seen it yet so I'm just reviewing the soundtrack... which is very good.

I don't think anyone in this recording is in the production I'm seeing- so that will be interesting to see the differences... but I really like the singers on the recording. Hades, Euridicye, Persephone, Orpheus and of corse Hermes are really great!

I feel like it's hard to picture the album just by listening to it. When I listened to Hamilton I had a clear idea of what was going on just by the recording- this one I'm intrigued to see how it all looks on stage. Love it and would recommend listening to it!
