Shannon’s Adventures: The Usher Concert that Taylor’s Boyfriend crashed

Okay- so I'm not sure the copyright laws with the name of this football game... but I watched it at home and it wasn't the best game I've seen but... let's talk about it.

I know I mentioned I was going to some sort of sporting event on last weeks Shannon's Adventures and I wasn't sure if I would be able to go or not: that was not the Super Bowl. I can't afford Super Bowl tickets and it's not really an interest of mine so... it's not like it's something I'm dying to go to... but I do like watching it every year with my parents and their friends.

Anyway I don't really follow the teams in the game that well. I rooted for the Cheifs last year because I like Patrick Mahomes and I think he's cute. I kind of wanted the 49ers to win this year just because I don't really want them to win 2 years in a row... but the Chiefs usually play a good game... so it was hard not to want them to win.

Plus the Chiefs gained a huge fan base with all the Swifties... and I kind of didn't want them to win because some of the swifties are a little crazy... but it was exciting to see Blake Lively and Ice Spice and a bunch of celebrities rooting for the chiefs. I'm not the biggest Taylor Swift fan but... new people are getting into football and I guess this was exciting for them.

This was only the second Super Bowl that went into overtime and it was the longest super bowl game in history so... that was kind of exciting. The Chiefs winning the game in the second half was really cool. It wasn't as exciting as last years game- which I watched alone because I was sick so it was like a fever dream- but I did pay attention lol.

So the commercials... which is the real reason I watch... not great. There are none that I remember that well. I liked the one with Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, and I liked it IF commercial with Randall Park saying that he was John Krasinski... that was kind of a deep cut but it was funny.

The movie trailers were exciting... but they didn't show the full trailer for A lot of them. I am SO EXCITED for Deadpool and Wolverine. That looks really good and funny. I just watched Deadpool 2 also- so that might be why.

The Usher halftime show... was it just me or was the sound quality not the best it's ever been? Idk I like Usher but when he very first came out I don't think he sounded great- and I don't think it's that he's not a great singer. I think it was a technical issue. His dancing was really great though- I liked his outfit a lot and... the guests with him were great. And when he did Yeah- that was exciting.

The show after the Super Bowl just didn't look all that great. I don't really think it's going to stay on that long. I liked the insanity of last year's Next Level Chef because I was sick and it was like a fever dream seeing a cooking show with the same concept as the spanish horror movie The Platform. I can't tell you what the show was called, what it's about... just that the guy from This Is Us stars in it.

So that is everything! I hope you guys like this post! The next few weeks I should have some exciting posts. Valentine's Day is... today (Im writing this Monday) and I may post about that and: The Sporting Event I was talking about is on Sunday... and that is the Sumo World Championship! So I'll have a post on that!
