Shannon’s Adventures: Little Free Library Hunting

A few weeks ago I had a weekend off… and I didn’t have a lot of stuff I wanted to donate- but there were a couple of movies and DVDs I wanted to get rid of… so I went on a hunt for little free libraries!

So my boyfriend checked the locator and found some near us. The first one I was a little nervous to donate anything at because it was in front of a house… and I didn’t know that was a thing and I didn’t want to get caught or anything but I dropped off Brittani Louise Taylor’s A Sucky Love Story- which I read and liked and my boyfriend also read and liked it. It needed a new home.

Anyway while I was putting it away it was pretty packed and a book just kind of fell out so I was like “okay it’s a sign I’m taking it.” I don’t remember what it was but I think it was a girly essay or poetry book or something. Pretty cover.

Next one was also at a house- But now I was a pro so I was less nervous. And I dropped off The Majesties by Tiffany Tsao. Another book that my boyfriend and I both read but… idk if we liked all that much. This has a twist ending that isn’t completely out of the blue but it’s not a great twist. It was such an interesting concept that I was just a little let down by it.

There was a Dracula book in this little library- so you know I took that!

And that’s everything! I had fun with this and I liked it… not sure if I’m getting the books I donated confused or not though.

Ohhh also the movies- I’m not sure what I donated- but we ended up going to goodwill after and donating it there. Then we went to Jack’s music Shop and my boyfriend bought some sheet music he wasn’t sure he was going to be able to read and I forget what else we got… but I don’t think I got anything.

Ohhh and some guy at the second store was in his car and he didn’t know why my boyfriend was stopped- and then he saw me at the little free library and he smiled. And that was nice- so you get fun little moments like that too. It’s a cute date idea!
