Shannon’s Adventures: Almost Meeting a Celebrity
So… there have been 2 times I’ve been near a celebrity and I could have maybe met them… but the timing was kind of off.
I’m not going to name the celebrities because this could inadvertently end up doxxing myself because it was close to where I was working and I don’t want people to find out where I work.
The first celebrity I honestly don’t know who he is… but I guess a lot of people did because there was a long line to meet him. Because I work near this place we saw him in passing and it was busy at the outside of the store.
I think I was the only person that knew there was a thing going on because I happened to pass the door on the way to somewhere else in the plaza. So I showed my bosses who he was and my one boss was like “ohhh I just saw him outside” so that was exciting.
The second celebrity was much more famous. The line was significantly longer and I would have waited in line but there was no way I was going to get the chance to meet him. There was somewhere else he was going to be after that… so they would have likely rushed the last few people and I don’t think everyone that got in line met him. This was like just after Aspen and I saw The People’s Joker in New York and we were at the first showing and they did have to rush us out. So we knew what to expect with that.
Anyway it’s still exciting to see. We got a delivery for a product that’s from a popular brand and when the truck pulled up people were looking at it like they thought that’s where the celebrity was and that was funny.
The funny thing is both times this happened there was rain- so all those people were just waiting in the rain to meet these people and… that’s kind of something.
So that is somewhat of an adventure that happened recently.
Bye!
