REM Beauty: What I Almost Bought + Why I Didn’t

So I’m excited that Ariana Grande launched her new makeup lime. Celebrity makeup lines seem to be popping up everywhere right now because of Fenty Beauty’s success- and honestly it’s fun to try to recreate some celebrity products and… there are some interesting choices with this line I think.

So it launched with quite a few things… and the most expensive thing is $24… so it isn‘t that expensive. Free shipping for the US is $50, worldwide is $80… that’s not the worst.

I had 2 items in my cart at $30 something dollars and I just needed $19 more for free shipping and there was nothing else I really wanted for the shipping.

So the first thing I wanted to try was the volumizing mascara. This has an interesting wand- I think I would like it. The pictures on the website didn’t make it look overly full- but in my opinion was a good thing because they didn’t have the model wear false lashes… and it looked like how I like my lashes to look. So it was pretty good.

The Other thing I wanted to buy was the Matte Liquid eyeshadow because I have tricky eyelids and I like it when primers really work and stick to my eyes… I thought this would work really well for that and I’m curious about it and will maybe try it in the future.

I was debating getting an eyeshadow palette… but I think I have one VERY SIMILAR to the shade Princepessa Which is the one I wanted most. I think it’s a discontinued Milani eye palette- but still. I also wanted to try one of their lipsticks But I just ordered some Mac lipsticks and Im still wearing a mask to work and most other places just for security… so lipsticks aren’t exactly the first thing I’m reaching for.

And like I said- I just ordered from Ulta, the Sephora sale is still going on… I just didn’t want to buy this right then.
