Music Review: Fall Out Boy So Much (for) Stardust
Okay so I want to do some more music reviews and I got a new record player I actually like- so I just kind of grabbed a random record and: it was Fall Out Boy's so Much For Stardust- and it was the first time I listened to this so... let's talk about it!
This is probably my favorite album of theirs since Foliw a Deux. I wasn't listening to it 100% I was doing other things while listening to it... but it doesn't matter it all kind of stood out instead of all the songs sounding the same... which their other records kind of did.
So some songs that really stood out to me: Fake Out,The Pink Seashell, What a Time To Be Alive- which is a Covid song, and So much (for) stardust. These aren't the only good songs on the album- I really did enjoy more of them and there probably are more standout songs- but when I think of this album- these will be the songs that I think of for sure.
The fact that they had a really clever Covid song on this album just made it a nice little time capsule! It was so cleverly written too that I really really loved it.
Overall I was really impressed by this! It's not that I haven't liked their other albums since Folie a Deux- but this one reminds me more of their older albums that I love. It's almost like Infinity on High... I was really impressed. I wasn't expecting that much from this but I would listen to this if I want to listen to fall out boy.
So yeah- overall this was a good record! I'm excited to do some more music reviews!
Bye!
