Movie Monday: Wicked x Caboodles and Movie Tie in Merch!

So I kind of want to start following movie tie ins more closely and maybe I’ll make some posts about them. Right now I’ve been kind of obsessed with the Wicked movie marketing and I’ll share what I’ve bought and what I’ve seen!

So I did get the Caboodles from the Wicked collection- I love Caboodles to store makeup and they can be good and useful for travel also… so I got quite a few things from this line.

So some of these were available at Ulta but I think some of them have sold out on Ulta’s site and in my stores already. I think the mini caboodles sold out and the tiny purse sized ones. I got these from Caboodles website itself.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to take the big caboodle sticker off of it because I do think they look really cool too- I really liked the black glitter on the large case… so I did take it off and I put that in my junk journal. The large caboodle also came with stickers which I was going to save for my Junk Journal and not put them on these caboodles… but the Mini Caboodle didn’t have a detail for Glinda the way the large Elphaba case did… and I like Glinda a lot so I wanted her case to have something and there were some round stickers… so I put it on there and then the other stickers were so nice I just decided to keep sticking them on!

On The Go- Girl Case Elphaba

So the larger caboodles are called the on the go girl cases I guess… these are really large- they fit a lot of things and they have a mirror on the inside. These are also the only ones that come with stickers and it has the little detail on the button part with Elphabas hat.

I love the glitter on this one- I think it’s beautiful and it does look like it’s from Wicked… but it doesn’t really SCREAM Wicked- which is what I really like about the products I’ve seen so far.

I didn’t put any stickers on the back- but I like the stickers I used a lot. I tried to put all the Elphaba stickers on this one.

This one I like the best- it fits a ton of stuff inside and it has a nice big mirror on the inside too.

Does this make me kind of want the Glinda case? Sort of… I do have the mini Glinda case… but I kind of want the big one now too… 😂 I will probably do a separate post on what I put inside… just to kind of show my makeup routine.

So this is also a nice sized caboodle- I’m not really sure what I want to put inside of here yet!

This can still fit a lot of stuff in it- this could totally be something to travel with. It also has a tiny tiny mirror and little things to pull out.

This is how I decorated it. This one does not come with stickers- but I’m pretty sure you can buy similar wicked stickers by themselves- these prints seem to be what they’re using for all the marketing!

Again I’ll do a post on this one once I figure out what I’m using it for.

The Elphaba case also isn’t green- it’s a purple color- which I like because it differentiates it a bit… but I wouldn’t buy that one because there’s nothing really to make it look like a Wicked collab.

Wicked Care Little Bit Set

I’ve also wanted these mini caboodles for a while- I like to carry a lot of beauty products in my purse and these don’t fit a whole lot- but they fit enough lol and it’s easy to find and open inside of my purse.

I feel like if you carry lashes or lash glue or nail glue these could be useful. I don’t wear lashes or nails- but I feel like these would be easy to find and I easy to open if you need it. Plus it won’t open up inside your purse.

Other Collabs

Scuncii has my other favorite products from Wicked right now! They have really beautiful claw clips and scrunchies and hair clips. I got one Glinda Claw Clip and snap clips… these are so pretty and the quality of these feels really good- I thought it was from the brand Kitsch which I feel like is a more expensive brand. I might get more from this line too because there’s a lot of stuff I didn’t really see in store. I just used a screenshot from Ulta’s app because I don’t know if I can do it justice in person with the lighting. They’re really really pretty!

Ariana Grande’s makeup line R E M beauty also has a wicked collab. I’m not a huge fan of R E M beauty personally, I tried one lipgloss from them I think and it was okay… its a little expensive for what the makeup is- so I haven’t really looked at anything… if it goes on sale I would say it’s more worth it… and of corse if you like the line itself or you’re a collector of wicked merchadise definitely go for it… I’m not that interested in it.

Tartan and Twine also has some nice makeup bags… these sometimes show up at tj maxx so… I might look for them if I see them while I’m at a tj maxx but I already have Wicked makeup cases now- so I wasn’t too interested I didn’t look at it.

The big thing that might be sold out by now… but I think is of corse the Stanley Tumblers. I love my big Stanley cup- I did want to get a smaller one for my morning coffee… my sister got some of the big ones for her and her daughter. I’m seeing them the day after I write this- so if I think about it I’ll take some pictures of theirs for this post if they use them… I think they might be sold out anyway… but I’m sure there’s ways to get them now and in the future still.

Target’s dollar spot also has a lot of things- and they have a lot of notebooks that my store originally put out in the dollar spot… but they are not a dollar! A lot of them were like $12 and that’s kind of a lot for them… so I didn’t get them. I wanted the tab notebook for my niece but I didn’t see it yet.

Ohhh and I saw the Barbie dolls. They’re really pretty- but there’s a singing Glinda Doll- I think it might have a recording from the Broadway version of wicked… it sounded pretty close to Kristen Chenowith’s voice… but it wasn’t Ariana Grande’s voice so it was a little weird. It just played the same exact part of popular too- so I’m not sure if it changes at all if you change the mode of the doll. I am not really a doll collector so I didn’t get it… but they are both lovely dolls.

And the Wicked Books have a special movie cover now… which is very cute. I collect Gregory McGuires books but I haven’t read any of them. Specifically I have several copies of Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister… which I got for free for the most part in little free libraries and from people getting rid of books. It’s a joke at this point- my boyfriend and I just have a bunch of Confessions of An Ugly Stepsister and we always get it if we see it for free. I haven’t gotten the special cover yet or the movie cover… but it looks nice if you’re a wicked fan I think you’d like it.

Now I’m sure there are some clothing and maybe food collaborations that I haven’t mentioned yet- and maybe even more stuff to come… Let’s also not forget about the Wicked themed date on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette… but yeah there’s lots of wicked stuff and this is what I’ve found interesting!

Okay my sister got me a Glinda Stanley Tumbler for my birthday present and I ordered some of the Wicked Scunci collection so I’ll share those pictures here! I meant to take these in the daylight- but I didn’t lol.

The pictures definitely don’t do this cup justice. It’s really sparkly and the details are so pretty! I didn’t take a picture of my sisters Elphaba Tumbler/ but it was also gorgeous!

These are all also very pretty I’m really excited to use these! I think there’s a silver clip like the gold one I have… and I kind of want that too. These are cool! Great collabs!
