Movie Monday: The Mighty Ducks

Okay... I had heard the new Mighty Ducks show was really good- and before I watched that I wanted to see the first 2 Mighty Ducks Movies... I'll probably end up watching the third one too so... yeah!

Fun story about Shannon- when I was little I used to love this movie... and my dad had this Jet's Helmet that I would put on and use one of the fireplace things as a hockey stick... and I beat up my sister. So... I have some fond memories of the movie. I don't really remember it but... yeah.

Anyway this movie was... really great! I fell asleep for a few minutes... but it was still really good! I liked Emilio Estevez- he's a hugely underrated actor if you ask me... he plays this arrogant lawyer that gets in trouble for drunk driving... so they make him coach a kids hockey team... cause you know- that's how that works.

Anyway he takes a quick liking to the kids on the team and recruits some kids that he sees potential in and he really encourages them and he gives some good speeches. Like if you're having a bad day... listen to the Ducks Fly Together speech... it'll make you feel better.

And you get a good amount of characters from the kid. And they're all really good actors... and I think a lot of them have returned to the series so I'm pretty excited about it.

Also Hockey... I like Hockey! It's kind of fun to watch... I kind of want to watch it more. I like it more than Basketball- but I'm not sure I like The Mighty Ducks as much as the show with John Stamos and the Girls Basketball team. I might like it more... but John Stamos is John Stamos... so yeah!

So yeah- the series is apparently really good according to my parents and this movie was really great. I'm excited to watch the second one- probably tomorrow!
