Movie Monday: Ranking the Ghostface Killers

I am very excited for Scream 6- so let's talk about all the past Ghostface Killers and rank them! Spoilers for every scream movie and Ranking will be from lowest to highest!

9) Charlie Walker from Scream 4

I really liked Scream 4... but Charlie was a bit of a boring Ghostface compared to everyone else. I couldn't even remember what his name was. There isn't much to say he just... liked scary movies and was a Ghostface.

8) Roman Bridger from Scream 3

The only Ghostface in Scream 3... and I feel like Scream 3 just had the most problems. Knowing that it could have been Stu back from the dead but there was censoring... He just seemed the most predictable but also... just not my favorite.

7) Amber from Scream 5

She's fine- but she seems like a repeat of Charlie Walker and I don't like him that much.

6) Mickey from Scream 2

Mickey's reveal was pretty great. I really like Scream 2. I also like that it showed Sydney just wasn't ready to trust her boyfriend yet and that's why when Mickey was about to kill him... she just couldn't trust him yet. I also just like that actor a lot. He's great. This was a good reveal.

5) Ritchie Scream 5- I feel like I made a mistake and Mickey should be ahead of Ritchie... but I do like Jack Quaid a lot and I like that he went to Comic Con dressed as Ghostface. These 2 are interchangeable but I like Ritchie and Mickey.

4) Jill from Scream 4- this was a great reveal! I don't think Scream 4 is an easy scream to rewatch... but I did really enjoy watching it for the first time. I liked her relationship with Sydney. I also like the DEAD GIVEAWAY in just about every scream movie- which is that whoever the killer is will leave their doors unlocked/ windows open. They aren't afraid to go anywhere by themselves because they know they won't get killed because THEY'RE THE KILLER! This movie sets that up well with Jill's ex boyfriend sneaking through the window. We're supposed to think he's the killer because it looks like he's Billy Loomis- but in reality it's obviously Jill because she left her window open when she knows there's a killer.

3) Mrs. Loomis from Scream 2-

Scream 2 was a great movie. I loved the reveal that Sydney never met Debbie Salt because the would obviously know it was Mrs. Loomis. I like the Loomis family tree a lot more now because obviously our new series follows his daughter... which is a good twist. I prefer Stu as my Ghostface killer... which spoils the end of the list... but yeah. I like that they're still using Billy Loomis in the new movies. And Mrs. Loomis is also a Ghostface.

2) Billy Loomis from Scream- obviously the first movie is the best movie of the series and Billy is probably a lot of people's favorites because they think he's the brains behind the operation and Stu just went along with it because he was in love with him... but I don't think so. I think Stu was the brains and the one that preferred the slicing and dicing but Billy was the one with a vendetta.

1)Stu Macher from Scream-

Matthew Lillard is a treasure. I think Scream 3 could have been saved if he was one of the killers. I also think that he was the actual psychopath because he had the dolls hanging in his room... the first kill of the franchise was his ex and her new boyfriend. Plus most of this movie took place at his house and... it was just very creepy. And his death was obviously the best of any Ghostface killers... if he's even dead... maybe he's our Ghostface in Scream 6... there's always hope!

There's my official ranking! You could switch Mickey and Ritchie but I'm gonna stick with this list... until Scream 6 comes out which... I keep having dreams about and it's scary!
