Movie Monday: Everything I Watched in March

Okay so... this month I watched 10 things... and most of them are kind of known for being bad... so I'm going to talk about the Tv shows I watched because I did like those the best this month, then I'll talk about the one movie I saw in theaters and then I'll rank the other movies!

Twin Peaks Season 1

This season was brilliant... I am to the point in Season 2 now where this show is almost unwatchable... but it does have a great cast and some really great characters. Except James... James is the most boring character on the whole show... and he gets a whole storyline in season 2 that just kind of drags on...

Anyway season 1 was great. My favorite characters are obviously Agent Cooper, Audrey, Andy and in season 2 I really love Denise. And the Log Lady of corse.

The Bachelor

This was my favorite season of the bachelor. Joey is definitely the best bachelor that we've had and I hope he and Kelsey are doing amazing. I loved the finale, I really loved the women of this season and Joey really took his time listening to them and getting to know them. This was just a great great season! And I'm really excited to see Jen as The Bachelorette!

Quiet on Set

Quiet on set is not fully out yet- I think they are working on releasing more episodes- but I did watch all of the episodes that were out and it's really sad to see what happened behind the scenes of a lot of these shows I watched as a kid. Hearing everything the children went through was heartbreaking. Hearing everything the adults went through was also shocking- I didn't know about the mistreatment of the female writers on The Amanda Show but that was awful too. This was a well done documentary and a lot of people got to tell their story.

What I saw in theaters: Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

This was a good movie and I really enjoyed seeing it, I liked seeing it in theaters... but there's a part of me that wishes there was a little bit more of a difference between this movie and the other Ghostbusters movies. The main ghost was a bit different but... the whole crew has been busting ghosts the same way for all of these movies... there needs to be something different. There was also a lot in this movie that just kind of felt like a Maguffin. Not the best- but probably the second best ghostbusters movie.

Ranking all the other movies

6. Movie 43

I think this is the only time Movie 43 will be on a Top 6 list because it is the very bottom of this list of movies I watched this month. People say it's the worst movie of all time and I don't think that they're wrong. This is pretty bad.

5. Leprechaun in The Hood

So I think I've decided I'm going to watch one of the Leprechaun movies every year until I watch them all.

I'm only going to watch the Warwick Davis ones-

Although I'm not sure if he's in Back to the Hood and I will likely watch that also. This wasn't much of a horror movie... but I'm going to be honest... I 100% believe that leprechaun's exist and while I don't think that they are like the leprechaun in this movie... this movie didn't sway me to not believe in leprechauns... so I think there's something to this one.

4. Ricky Stanicky

I'm a little bit disappointed in this one! It wasn't bad, John Cena is very funny... but I thought this was going to be one of my favorite movies of the year... and it just wasn't. I would probably watch it again or I'd watch a sequel even though there is no real point to making a sequel to this... but this was okay.

3. A Walk To Remember

I was really close between this one and the number 2 movie I watched. And this one I'm ranking lower because I feel like the next movie I'm going to talk about should have been more popular than it was.

A Walk To Remember was a very sad Nicholas Sparks movie based off a book of his and it was kind of crazy. It has an awesome soundtrack- and it was a lot weirder and more religious than I remember it being. Jamie- Mandy Moore's character is also very much a manic pixie dream girl in this... but they do kind of make her seem so nerdy and smart that you don't really see her as the manic pixie dream girl. Great teen romance/ drama.

2. Just My Luck

This is a cute Lindsay Lohan Rom Com where she has the best luck in the whole world and then she kisses a random guy at a party and he gets her luck and she gets his bad luck which he has the worst luck. This was very cute and I feel like it should have been more popular but Lindsay Lohan was not in a good place when this movie came out and this was like... at the peek of LiLo's crazy party days where she was all anyone could talk about. She was in the tabloids all the time for partying and doing crazy things and she was very addicted to things. I'm glad she's calmed down a bit more, I'm glad that I don't think the media brings as much shame to women for doing these things now... this wasn't the greatest movie in the world... but the director of this is also the director of How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days and I love that movie... and this is along the same lines as a cute rom com with fun characters and I liked the concept of it.

1.Thelma and Louise

Thelma and Louise is a classic movie. I watched this in 4K at my boyfriends house on his birthday and it was really good! It was his first time watching it and he didn't know much about the movie... so it was fun to see from his point of view. It's also just really good with Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis... I liked seeing them in this a lot.

That is everything! It feels like I watched more this month- but I didn't actually get to finish a lot of what I watched this month... so there may be more next month.

Bye!
