Monthly Favorites October 2021

Alright my 30th birthday and... I've got another monthly Favorites and I'm going to do it top 10 style again where I'll do the top 10 beauty products of the past month or 2 and then talk about my non makeup favorites right after.

10) L'oreal Infallible Pro Powder Foundation- This is a really nice powder- it has a nice amount of coverage to it and it makes my skin look really matte and perfected. I've never really used Powder Foundation- but I thought it could be useful so I bought this one recently and it really is easy to use and works well. It doesn't look too dry on me either.

9) Essence All About Brows Palette- I just use the dark brown brow powder and the wax from this, and sometimes the matte brightening shade. This works perfectly for me- my brows are already pretty full- so I just need a bit of darkening and shaping for my liking. It's great for me.

8) No. 7 Airbrush Away Tinted Skin Perfecter- I heard about this from Taylor Wynn- I use this as a primer more than a tinted primer- but I've used it as that a couple of times. It's good- not the cheapest drugstore brand- but I really like how it makes my foundation look and it feels nice on my skin.

7) Benefit Cheek Stars Reunion Palette- This is one I bought around Labor Day- so I probably used it more in September than October- but I really like it a lot. This has a Hoola Bronzer, a few blushes and a highlight and... they're all really nice pretty shades. Fun and easy to use- I just really like it!

6) Colourpop Lippie Pencils- These are kind of always a favorite- but I've been using them a lot with some fall lip colors whenever I wear lipstick... which isn't that often as I'm usually in a mask. But still- these are good. I had trouble sharpening one- but that's the first time that's ever happened so... I'm not sure if that is usual or not.

5) Catrice True Skin Hydrating Foundation- I feel like I've mentioned this in a favorites before- but it is a really good foundation and I like that it is full coverage while still being hydrating. I like it!

4) Pat McGrath Lipstick in Omi- I love this lipstick- this was in the Sephora Favorites Black Owned Beauty set... I love the shade of this and I just really like it a lot!

3) Nudestix Tinted Skin Foundation- This is a really nice matte foundation that covers really well... it was on sale around Labor Day I think and I wanted to get it because it was on my Loves List for a while. I really like it overall. I think it has a good formula and it makes me look good. I feel like it's not too matte but it covers well. I would probably repurchase this.

2) Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Universe Palette- This is my third Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette... which might be too much for such a luxury brand... but I couldn't resist! Its a really good product and I use these a lot! This one might be my favorite one so far too... it is just a great one.

1) Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eyes Smokey Eyes Forever Palette- Okay this... I got myself a lot of luxury makeup for my 30th birthday and... This is what I think I love the most. It's easy to use and it just overall works! I love the Charlotte Tilbury Products that I've tried... but I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I do.

Skincare Favorites:

Peter Thomas Roth Products- So I got a kit with some Peter Thomas Roth Products... I'm going to have to do a whole review on this because it's been really good and I think this kit could be a good holiday gift and it's usually on sale.

Haircare:

Adwoa Beauty Baomint Deep Conditioning Treatment- So I got this in a Black Owned Beauty Sephora Favorites set... and I definitely want more from this brand and this line. This smells amazing and it works really well too. It gives so much moisture to my hair and it makes it easy to comb out without detangling. A little goes a long way- but it works for all hair types and... I just really like it!

Bread Beauty Supply Hair Oil- This I need to find because Idk where it is but it works so so well to detangle and it smells amazing and makes my hair feel really nice and soft.

Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Hair Products- I have 3 products I've been using from this... I really like them and I'll probably do a haircare routine sometime soon.

Fashion

Betsey Johnson Halloween Purses- I have 2 this is just one... they're small but they are CUTE!

Again- really fun collection! I got the ice cream cone as a birthday gift! So cute! These both Glow in the Dark too!

Loungefly Nightmare Before Christmas Backpack-

I love this one! I wanted it a couple years ago... but I couldn't really afford it- and I got it last year but it came in November and I wanted it for Halloween...so I didn't use it till this year... but I love it!

Etsy "Love" and Nail Bracelets-

These are really nice I did a blog on this... I'm not sure if I posted it yet or not but... I'll link it if I think of it later. These look really nice on and I just really like them!

Etsy Greek Keys Ring- I love this one! I may have overdone it with Etsy this year... but I like this a lot! It has opal in it too-which is my birthstone!

Fragrance and Body Care

Replica Coffee Break Perfume- I treated myself to a full size of this because it's my birthday month and I turned 30... so yeah I really like this perfume- my boyfriend likes how it smells on me too. Its really nice and sweet. I also got a couple of Replica sets too... I got the Birthday Gift and the Discovery set also... so yeah. I love this brand.

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Restful Moon and Awakening Sun Aromatherapy Scents- Both of these smell really nice and they work really well. I like the Awakening Sun if I take a shower in the morning and Restful Moon to help me sleep.

Kniepp Joint and Muscle relief Bath Oil- So I got this recently to use with my bath salts... which are my favorite thing ever... and it just makes for a really REALLY relaxing bath experience... like its something I need lol.

Ariana Grande Cloud Perfume- This is the perfume I get complimented on the most. I actually just bought a Cloud 2.0 in a large size because I'm almost totally done with my mini size of the original. It's so so good!

Bath and Body Works Pumpkin Pecan Waffles- This is another total favorite of mine! It lasts a long time on my skin too. I only have the body spray- but I just ordered a few of the body washes too!

Other Favorites

Happy Death Day- What a great movie! The original and the sequel were both really fun and original and I really liked all of the characters. I ordered the blu rays of both of them too just because I liked them so much!

Squid Game- I really like this show... it's definitely worth the hype- all the characters are really interesting- the twists are really fun... and the story is just a good one. I really liked this a lot!

My Birthday- I had a really good birthday week this year. I took the week off and just relaxed and there were a few things I did... but nothing too major. It was just nice.
