May Diaries 31: My May Wrap Up
Okay I’m just going to do a top 10 list for May. I don’t want to talk about my whole month because there was some personal things that happened but… Here’s 10 things that happened!
1-I Saw Challengers
I was so excited to see Challengers in theaters… I thought it’d be the movie of the year… and it was okay. I didn’t think the hype was really worth it- but the movie was still pretty good overall. I also had the Sprite Chill Icee at the movie theater and that was really good.
2- I went in the pool
I spent my day off this week in the pool and it was amazing! The pool was pretty cold but it was still nice to go in and read in the hot sun.
3- I learned how to fix my keurig
Well I made my boyfriend actually do the work- but my keurig broke and he was able to fix it and now it’s running smoothly! I descaled it and washed all the parts too. I might do a blog on this soon. But yeah! That was interesting!
4- I got a Youtooz Figure
After months of waiting- I finally got the Safiy Nygaard Youtooz figure. It’s really cute- maybe I’ll do a diary on this but… this was a long wait. I don’t think I would order from Youtooz again just because I wasn’t even updated for several months.
5- I had a week off of work
Last week I had off and I didn’t really do that much during my week off- but it was still good to not be working for the week!
6- I went to Smithville
Smithville’s Mayfest was this month and I was excited and I went. This was great!
7- I tried something new at one of my favorite restaurants
So yesterday I went out to Moonstruck and I got the Seared Shrimp and Scallops. It was really good! I’d order it again!
8- I tried some new Oreos
This might not be the most exciting thing ever but I don’t always get the new Oreo flavors… but I had to try the Sour Patch Kids Oreos and the Toffee Nut Crunch Oreos… so good worth trying for sure!
9- I bought and made some presents for Mother’s Day
So I got my mom an Erstwilder Maltese brooch and a Ree Drummond aka The Pioneer woman cookbook and I wrote her some simple recipes and some recipes I knew she wanted on Index Cards and gave them to her as part of her Mother’s Day gift. It was r fun and easy!
10- I started Journaling
So there are some tasks I’m trying to do daily and I’ve started a journal to keep up with that. I haven’t done everything every day and I haven’t kept up with the journal in a few days… but I started it and that’s something!
Bye!
