We all know Smelly Cat defined a generation- but Phoebe Buffay has so many great songs-let’s talk about some of the B sides lol.

The Shower Song- from The One With The Baby On The Bus

I think of this song a lot when I’m in the shower it’s a pretty sweet song. And then I think about Ethan Craft saying that he doesn’t repeat when he washes his hair because that’s just something the shampoo company’s say to get you to buy more shampoo.

A Song About Animals- The One After The Super Bowl

So I don’t think this song has a name but… it goes “Oh the cow in the meadow goes moo. Ohhh the cow in the meadow goes moo. Then the farmer hits him in the head and grinds him up and that’s how we get hamburgers.

The Woman Smelled Like Garbage from The One With Rachel’s Dream

This is in one of my favorite underrated episodes The One With Rachel’s Dream- and my favorite stories actually have nothing to do with Rachel and Joey. I really love Ross and Chandler trying to take things from the hotel to cover the fact that Chandler had to pay twice. Anyway I also love Monica and Phoebe’s story where Phoebe gets her massage license suspended and she sings outside of Monica’s fancy restaurant. One of the songs is “it wasn’t just that she was fat- the woman smelled like garbage.”

Sticky Shoes from The One With Joey’s New Girlfriend

This is great because of her sexy phlegm voice. There’s a version of this in The One With Phoebe’s ex singing partner and they’re both really good.

Also parading goats and paper mache man are in this episode too and they’re both iconic.

There are probably more songs and even just titles of songs but that’s my top ones for now!
