Marvel Monday: Marvel in 2023

There are still some Christmas posts I didn't get to and I probably will in the new year- but this week will be all about my favorite things of the year and for Marvel Monday- I thought I'd talk about the Marvel coming out next year!

Theatrical Releases

Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania

Okay- the next marvel movie which I believe comes out in February is an Ant Man movie- and this one looks like it could be the best one yet! Somewhat surprised they didn't recast The Wasp after Evangeline Lilly made some Anti Vaccine comments... but I'm still excited for this movie! The trailer looks so good and it's good to have the whole Pym family there! Plus Cassie probably has more of a role making this a real Daddy- Daughter movie... unlike Dr. Strange which was a surprise Daddy Daughter movie... lol I didnt love that aspect of it...BUT this one looks exciting.

Btw I call anything with a younger person and an older mentor a Daddy/Daughtet movie...I may discuss this trope more in the future!

Also the whole Quantum Realm is really cool!

Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 3

This one looks exciting. I think this is going to be the last guardians movie and it looks to be focused on Rocket Racoon. After seeing the Holiday Special I was really excited for this movie... I feel like you don't HAVE to watch it before seeing the movie- but it did add a lot to the movie.

I always like the Guardians movies so this one should be good!

The Marvels

This is the last Theatrical Marvel release of 2023 and it sounds interesting. I really like Nia Decosta as a director so I'm excited to see her direct this movie. I also liked the first Captain Marvel a lot and the team up of this movie sounds like it could be really cool. I haven't watched Ms. Marvel yet- I'm a bit behind on my Disney+ shows but... this looks good!

Disney+

Secret Invasion

This one... has been set up for a long time and to be honest I'm a little upset it will be a Disney+ show instead of it having it's own movie... I was so excited for something after Spider Man Far From Home but... idk it's been so long... it just seems like why now??? This comes out before Guardians 3.

Echo

This will release in Summer of 2023. I don't know much about it but it's about a deaf assassin... which sounds good. I like shows and movies about assassins so this sounds like it could be good.

Disney Plus Shows that's dates are TBA

These shows might be out in 2023 but it might be longer than that who knows... the one I'm personally most interested in and the one that I think will actually get released this year is:

Agatha: Coven of Chaos

So I think they're really trying to get this one together. I've heard a lot of announcements and cast updates on this one. I believe that Patti Lupone and Aubrey Plaza were both confirmed for this- which is great. Love those ladies. This will follow Agatha Harkness from Wandavision! This is scheduled for Winter of 2023 or 2024 but... I wouldn't be surprised if some of these other ones get moved or shuffled for this to come out. I think this is their priority. But maybe not after Secret Invasion everything could change.

I'm also really excited for Season 2 of Loki- I really liked the first season and I think this will be the first Marvel show with a season 2... which is cool. Im going to be rewatching this soon for Marvel Monday since im rewatching Thor.

Armor Wars

This follows Rhodes from the Iron Man movies... who I like so this might be good! I don't know much more about it but I do like Rhodes as a character and would like to see War Machine more... so this should be cool!

Okay that is everything! Next week I'll try to have a Thor Ragnarock review up and hopefully I'll have more of my 2022 favorites this week!
