Legal Sea Foods+ Prudential Center Mall
So one thing I remember as a kid when I went to Boston was the Prudential Center Mall. It was kind of a fancy mall- I bought a dress at the club Monaco there because I didn't bring one with me that trip... and it used to be kind of half fancy and kind of half a regular mall. This time I went it felt a little more fancy and harder to get around it than I remembered. It's sort of split off into 2 malls and it's really big. There's one side that's like half an Eataly Italian Market-and then another whole side where the legal sea foods is and across from the Duck Tour waiting area.
We were going to eat at Eataly so we entered that way... but it was hard to figure out where to get food and what to actually eat. It was very overwhelming and it had an Italian deli smell that... wasn't as good as Italian markets in New Jersey. Sorry if you love Eataly and I know there's really great Italian food in Boston and they have an amazing little Italy section that I would have loved to have visited... it just seemed like maybe we would wait till we were back in New Jersey to get Italian food.
Sorry- got off track- but I did remember really liking the Legal Sea Foods that was there and I wanted to eat some sea food when we were in Massachusetts so I got a fish sandwich from Legal Sea Food! It was really good! I feel like the menu was smaller than I remembered- but it was still a great spot for a lunch that would hold us over till dinner and... we just liked it! It was a big and comfortable restaurant and the table we sat at was nice. Next time I think I would want to make a reservation and ask for a window seat because the window seats had a great view of the city- but it was still a great, comfortable restaurant that I really liked.
We also split a Boston Cream Pie for dessert and it was really good! Different than we expected it to be- I'm not sure if this is really the traditional Boston cream pie- but it is delicious!
I didn't take pictures of everything we ate and I didn't really take great pictures- but this was a good fried fish sandwich and the fries were great! Would go again and I would recommend it! I think Legal Sea Foods are a chain but I think it started in Boston- so the Boston ones are a little better. It also doesn't smell like fish the way something like a Joe's Crab Shack does.
Bye!
