June Diaries 11: Shoe Haul

Alright I’m sort of trying to rotate my shoes a little more so that they don’t get worn out and I need comfy shoes for my vacation coming up… so I’ve ordered a few.

I already mentioned I got a pink Cushionaire pair that looks like Birkenstocks. I got them and I ordered an 8 wide and an 8 and 1/2 and I went with the 8 and 1/2. Returned the other one to Amazon- and decided to use my Amazon credit to buy more shoes.

So I was looking to see if there were any Blowfish shoes in a wide size- which they do have- but I don’t think my size was available on Amazon. I used to like my blowfish sneakers a lot- but I went to try on a couple pairs and the 8 and 1/2 and 9 both seemed really narrow… anyway I decided to get 2 pairs of Bobs by sketchers. I got a black pair and a white pair… these are sort of converse looking and I wanted a pair like that to go with dressier options and dresses when I don’t feel like wearing sandals or something.

I also went to DSW- my mom used to really like a New Balance sneaker… and I looked online and they had a white one that was in an 8 and 1/2 wide in store… and I found it right away when we went to the store! I also tried on the 9s which were a little too big.

So that’s it! Hopefully the New Balance will be comfy and broken in when I go away. I’ll also bring the cushionaire sandals. I’m not sure I’ll bring the sketchers because Im only going away for 5 days and I’m only bringing a carry on… 3 pairs or shoes is too much… but yeah. I’ve got some shoe options now!
