June 2021 Favorites: Top 10 Beauty Products+ Every Other Bonus Favorite!

Alright- so... I figured I'd try something new. I'm going to do a top 10 countdown for Beauty Favorites- but a lot of my other favorites are things I talk about a lot and my random favorites... so I'm going to do Bonus Favorites at the bottom... this makes little to no sense- but we're going to try it.

10) Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation-

So... this isn't necessarily terrible- it's not a fail I like the foundation or tinted moisturizer or whatever it is... but I was underwhelmed by it. I love the idea of having a foundation with a high spf from the drugstore... but I prefer the It Cosmetic CC Cream. And I feel like the price difference of this isn't worth the quality difference for me. I think the same with the L'oreal Simply Ageless Foundation. I definitely need to use this more... but I feel like I'd pick up the It Cosmetics one before repurchasing either of those foundations. Or tinted moisturizers or whatever it is.

9) Milani Supercharged Blush in Peach Thrill

So I do like this a lot. I've been loving cream blushes lately- they're just so easy to apply and you can do it in a hurry. This one I think is just my least favorite of the ones I've tried lately. It lasts alright- but not great... and I don't think it will work for Oily Skin at all.

8) Tarte Maneater Mascara

I've used this mascara before... and I love it! It actually is one of my favorite mascaras I think. I feel like it should be higher on the list... but because I've used it before I feel like it's not exciting me as much as other products so... yeah. This is a hidden gem for sure!

7) Nyx Milky Gloss-

I have a lot of lip products in the next bit of this countdown. They're all good- I think this is the one I just reached for less though. I have the color Cherry and it's really pretty! It doesn't last long on my lips and it's hard to wear a gloss and a mask- so that's why its my least favorite lip product of the month... but I'd still buy another color. I have a feeling this could be a favorite another month. Or something. I like it a lot.

6) Ofra Liquid Lipsticks-

I use these all the time. I got JenLuvsReviews collection when they released that and she marketed it as something you can mix with others to create your perfect shade... and they are great to do that with. I'm a fan.

5) Nyx Lip Lingerie XXL

I was really impressed with these Lip Lingerie XXL liquid lipsticks. The original Nyx Lip Lingeries kind of sucked... like literally they SUCK any moisture from your lips... And their lingerie eye palettes kind of didn't work great either if I remember correctly. But these ones are great. Super easy to apply and it lasts so long. I have the color Strip'd Down... it's so pretty. I love it!

4) Tarte Glamazon Palette

This is such a pretty little palette from Tarte. There are a lot of Tarte Products in this months favorite... not just from the Pick Your Kit purchase either- a lot of it was I rediscovered some Tarte Products and decided to get Pick Your Kit. This is actually the only product I got from the Pick Your Kit on this list.

It's just an easy to use neutral palette- I would travel with it- I'd do makeup in the car with it... I love it!

3) LA Girl 16 Color Palettes

So these are really nice palettes... for a good price too. And they have so many colors! I have the Desert Dreams VIP Palette, Good Times and Tan Lines and Under The Palm. These are easy to use and easy to come up with looks for. They also come with a big mirror so its amazing. Great drugstore palettes!

2) Makeup By Mario Sculpting Collection

I need to try more from Makeup by Mario because everything is really good. I got the Cream Contour, the Cream Blush and the highlighter. The Highlight is my favorite... but the blush also really lasts a long time. The Cream contour is a bit hard to find a match for my skintone and it isn't the easiest to use... but I like it. I'd recommend it!

1) Tarte Skin Treat Poreless

So there are actually 2 different versions of the Tarte Skin Treat- the one I got in the Tarte Pick Your Kit I think is being phased out or discontinued- but this Poreless one is great. It feels moussey and it just evens out your skin texture so nicely and easily... it is a perfect perfected tinted moisturizer. I love it!

Body Care

Kneipp Dream Time Lanvender and Vanilla Bubble Bath-

So I love the Kneipp Joint and Muscle epsom salts and the Active Gel... But this bubble bath is really nice too. It seems kind of like Laundry Detergent for some reason. It's blue like tide and it kind of smells like laundry detergent... But it's also really nice and relaxing and it smells a lot better than the Joint and Muscle products.

Sol De Janiero Cheiroso '40

This is a really nice summery and springy smell. Plus it's pink and I like the color of it... it's so pretty!

Fashion

Quay x Lizzo Sunglasses

I love the 2 Quay Sunglasses I got from the Lizzo collection. I don't know where the Pair I wore most of the time this month was... but I don't think the exact pair is available anymore either. They're just nice and dark and pretty for the summer.

A New Day Wide Leg Pants + Relaxed Fit Ankle Pants

I wanted some cooler pants with pockets in it... so I looked at Target and they had exactly what I wanted! These Pants from A New Day are really nice and comfy and so cool and perfect for summer! I'm a big fan!

Universal Thread Strand Necklace

This necklace is so simple... and it totally changes a look... and that's what I love about jewelry!

Erstwilder Picks of The Month:

I love my Erstwilder Brooches and Necklaces- I think every month I'll share my favorites.

From the Nouveau collection I really love the Siren's Call, Le Peacock Royal (the colorful one), Madamoiselle Bernhardt, November Reign and the Royal Eye Necklace.

I've also been loving my Nautical Minis, my favorite from that this month is the Seafarer. This is one of my coworkers favorites too.

I also love my Slipping Under Necklace. So So pretty and summery looking. I think I got this from their most recent Fan Favorites line.

TV and Movies

In The Heights is my favorite movie of the month. What a really fun movie! I love Lin Manuel Miranda- I saw this on broadway and I loved it. It's just a fun movie and a great soundtrack.

Lizzie McGuire... both the show and the movie are favorites this month. I never really liked the movie that much... I watched it again and reviewed it on the blog and I didn't think I liked it that much... then I watched it 2 more times... and it's grown on me. I watched it with my boyfriend on vacation because I kept mentioning things in the movie and I was like "Uh we're going to have to see this!" And then inexplainably I watched it a third time after that... and yeah. I'm a Lizzie McGuire Movie Stan now. The show is still better and I feel like they should be judged separately... but the soundtrack to The Lizzie McGuire movie is fire... and I'm not even a fan of Hillary Duff's singing.

The Big Shot is another favorite. I really liked how the show wrapped up. I'm excited for a second season.

I'm also really liking this season of The Bachelorette. I really like Katie and I love Blake from Tayshia's season so I'm happy he's back now. Excited to see their romance. Going along with The Bachelorette- I have to mention my favorite podcast Chatty Broads. Becca was on The Bachelor and this isn't a Bachelor Nation podcast- so it's a little bit better. They have more control and they talk about more than just The Bachelor.

My favorite thing of the month... Big City Greens. I'm obsessed with this show. It's my favorite show on tv right now I think... and it's a cartoon for kids that's on The Disney Channel. It's so funny and it's just one of those things you can just turn your brain on and watch it in the backround. It's so so great!

Food

Snyder's of Hanover Pieces... the Honey Mustard and Onion ones in particular is amazing. I like the Buffalo flavor one too.... but I still think the Honey Mustard is my favorite.

Also all the food I ate on vacation was great... I'll have reviews soon on everything.

Album and Song of the Month

So my favorite Record that I listened to this month was Spice by The Spice Girls. It's an awesome record... I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did... but omg... These songs are so good and I feel like they're all very good singers. I do think Spice World is a better album... can't find the record for that... but this is good.

And my favorite song of the month... besides In The Heights songs... is Way Less Sad by AJR. I loved Bang by AJR and I get really excited when I heard they had a new song out. My mom is such a big fan of Bang also and she heard Way Less Sad and Bang before I did and she was so excited she was like "There's a good song on the radio! Bang by AJR" and it was a good song! Then she was excited when they started playing a new song... and that's been playing a lot lately. Great album!

Okay so that is everything. I loved writing my favorites like this... I think this is how I'm going to do this from now on. I love it!
