Hoagitos Turkinator Review

In the fried chicken sandwich craze- there is a local chain by me that actually specializes in Fried Chicken Sandwiches and for the holidays they have a fried turkey sandwich called The Turkinator!

So this sandwich has fried turkey, potato purée, stuffing, a "melty gravy" and I think cranberries also and it was on a toasted bread.

This tasted great... but if you get it on doordash it's $20. And it's quite a small sandwich. My boyfriend and I ended up splitting it because we thought for $20 maybe it was big and I wasn't too hungry... but no. We both agreed it was really good but that's too much money for us to run out and get it again. Maybe next year we could go in person and get it... but it's too much.

We also got the Fubar fries... these fries are awesome and a meal in itself so that definitely made up for the small size of the sandwich... but yeah.

If you want to treat yourself I would definitely recommend trying this once. You can get cheaper thanksgiving sandwiches other places- there are a lot of local delis and diners that have them all year long. Not fried turkey...so it's not really the same but... it is something you can get easily for a lot less.

Hoagitos does have really good chicken sandwiches and fries- I've tried it once before and I forget the sandwich I really liked but... you can definitely find something good there all year round!
