Alright friends- here are my favorite things from… recently.
I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump at the moment- but I did listen to Jeanette McCurdy’s audiobook I’m Glad My Mom Died and that book is great. She went through crazy, crazy things and she tells her story in such a darkly funny and interesting way… it’s definitely a must read- or listen in my case. It’s a great audiobook for sure!
After listening to this audiobook… I started looking up things from more of the Nickelodeon stars on YouTube. I found some videos from a channel called Sloan. I’d say his videos are interesting and he seems like a good person. A lot of them are kind of speculative and he says a lot of the same stuff in different videos… I think that’s fine- I think what he’s saying is legitimate and he never claims anything as true. It’s dark and I don’t know if I’ll watch any more cause I watched so many in a row… but it’s interesting for sure.
Pumpkin Spice is back! The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte takes better every year it comes back. I love it!
Not necessarily this week- but my boyfriend and I have started watching all of the Kevin Smith movies this month… so far we’ve watched Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks 2, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, and Tusk. I really liked all of them except for Tusk. I’ve seen Cop Out before too and I don’t like that one… so I prefer his View Askew movies to his other movies I’d say… but they’re definitely worth watching. Especially because I live around where these movies take place… so I know the places they’re going to very well. They went to my favorite record store in Chasing Amy and someone that works there (still) was in as an extra… and it was great to see him.
Speaking of my record Store- Jack’s Mannequin Everything In Transit is a forever favorite! I just posted my review on this yesterday so I’m not going into details but- yes I still love it!
And I think that’s everything I’ll talk about for right now! Still going to try to update this blog daily for September at least!
Bye!
