Foodie Tuesday: Late Night Bar Pizza:Vegetarian Boyfriend Edition

Alright so yesterday (my time) my boyfriend and I ate kind of a big lunch at Chilis... I might give the Mozzerella Sticks their own post... but anyway my boyfriend and I were kind of full but we still wanted something to eat- and we knew a bar called MJ's was open and they have pizza... and it's pretty good.

I think this is just a local bar- there are 2 locations that I know of. It's open till 1 I think? Or 1:30 or something like that and they had live music when we went in. And the guys playing was really good- I really liked their song selection. We didn't go for the music- we just went because we knew it was open.

So we didn't want to order anything too big and we looked at their pizza choices. The one that interested us the most that he could eat this month while he's not eating meat was the Eggplant Pizza.

I took a picture after we had eaten a few slices. The sauce was on top of the cheese- so if you got a piece with less sauce it was almost like eating a white pizza. The flavors tasted really good Together- the eggplant was cooked perfectly and it tasted really good on the pizza- I feel like sometimes toppings can get a little hard or overcooked- that was not the case here... and the crust was pretty perfect. It wasn't too thin but it was still kind of crispy. I really liked it.

Overall- this was a good late night bar pizza. It wasn't too expensive and we both really liked it!
