Foodie Tuesday: Broadway Hot and Honey Chicken
Another new chicken place opened and it looked more promising than Dave's Hot Chicken- so of corse Aspen and I had to try it out!
One thing I liked about it is that they have any type of chicken you could want. They have Tenders, Nuggets, Sandwiches, plus they have pieces of chicken like thighs and drumsticks and I think they have white meat too. They have a lot of side options like waffle fries, mozzarella sticks and more and they have waffles, biscuits and corn bread.
It's not really a place I love theming wise- it's kind of loud, they play country music and they have sports on tv. The service is nice and the restaurant is clean, I just might rather get takeout instead of eating there. They have tons of sauce options as well... which is great.
I had the nuggets and I think I got the sweet chili sauce with it and come back sauce. The chicken itself was really tasty and flavorful. It reminded me a little bit of Chick Fil A but... different. I won't eat at Chick Fil A and I haven't for years- but the flavor of the nugget was that good. I got the plain nuggets, but you could get them different levels of spicy and I think you can get them tossed in sauce too? I could be wrong about that.
We also got the Mozzarella sticks and you can get these in spicy flavorings or plain and choose your level of spice. I think we got the hot ones and they were hot and they were really really tasty! One of my main complaints about Dave's was that their spicy Flavorings just weren't that different and the flavor wasn't all that great. This one was a reallly good spicy flavor... I would have to try another one to compare but this was good.
Now I have not tried a lot from this menu- and I'm sure I'll be back and I'll try to try more of it. I was super impressed with it. My boyfriend like it too. He got a spicy chicken sandwich that he liked and we got waffle fries too.
Overall this is a good place to go for chicken options and I will go back! I'd get any of the things I tried before again too.
Bye!
