February-ish Haul! Colourpop Animal Crossing, Catrice, Juvia's Place and More!

So... this is kind of a collection of different trips to different drugstores through February... but maybe also January? Maybe some in March... I'm not sure. But... I found some good things and I'm excited to share.

Colourpop

So first off the Colourpop and Animal Crossing Makeup! I LOVE Animal Crossing- so I had to get the whole collection. So I was able to order the Nook Inc palette and the What A Hoot Palette on the Colourpop website the day that it launched- and then on Valentine's day when they were available at Ulta I bought Labelle of The Ball, and 5 Star Island palette plus I bought the blush in the shade Flower Tender and the lip duo in Pick of the Bunch. Honestly... if you're not a fan of Animal Crossing... you can skip this collection. I don't love the eyeshadow palettes, the blush is really pretty but its very simple and not that special and I would say the Lip products were my favorite. They come with 2 Just a Tint Lip Balms and I got the Pear and Coconut shades... I wear the Pear one quite often I haven't tried the coconut one yet. These are really nice- they're just an easy lip color. Sort of reminds me of a Maybelline Babylips. They're easy to use and a nice color and a nice smell!

I also bought 2 Eyeliners from Colourpop when I ordered from The Animal Crossing stuff online. I got the brown shade called Woodsy- which was actually part of RawBeautyKristy's (Kristie? I forget) collection and I got an orangey color in Baebreeze... it looked a lot more PINK in person than on the website... so Idk about this one- but I've used it and it's fine.

Juvia's Place

Omg so Juvia's Place. It's been a while since I ordered from Juvia's Place! This brand... is amazing.

So I saw they had a $15 Mystery bag and then they had 2 palettes that looked really pretty... so I got those too! So the mystery palette came with the Queen Palette from Fumi. This is an awesome palette that you can wear as a cheek palette or an eye palette... I love it and I use it a lot. It also came with a tapered face brush, a Gold Glitter Gloss in the shade It's Electric... which is just a really nice gold glitter gloss. And it came with a lip liner in the shade Scorpio! Totally great!

I also got the Vanessa Palette... which is a really nice neutral palette with some oranges... these are colors that I love and that I'll use all the time. It's so easy to use and nice!

And I got the Wine Palette with the bundle. So it came with the Wine Lip Pencil and the Lipstick in Rude Girl along with the Palette. I forget how much the bundle was- but I think I paid about $50 for everything... and I got 3 palettes and a lot of other products for that... so not bad.

Some Random Deals

So a few things... I found for a pretty good deal so I got them. 2 fragrances and 2 lip products that were a crazy good deal.

So let's start with the fragrances. I guess this wasn't a great deal- but I got the J.Lo Enduring Glow Perfume... which I just kind of found at Kohls and I had a gift card so I was like "Ohh... might as well get this with my gift card" even though I already spent enough money to use the gift card. I like the J Lo Glow Perfume- I haven't used it since I was a kid but my grandmother LOVES it and I got it for her for Christmas. I figured I would get this and she could have it if I didn't like it. So far I like it... it doesn't last all that long though... but it kind of does at the same time? I'll smell it later on in the day if I get sweaty lol.

I also got the Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy Perfume... again I've always wanted to try it and I figured if I didn't like it- my grandmother would... but honestly I love this! It's really sweet and it's kind of strong but it's really nice! I feel like I smell like a teenager... which I'm okay with.

Now for the Crazy Good Deals I got... At the store I work at- we got an insane amount of Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipstick sets... and they got marked down to a dollar. Honestly these sets are a good value to begin with. It comes with 10 shades... the Liquid Lipsticks are $20 and I think these go for $60 at Ulta... which isn't bad... Our store sold them for less than $60- I think it was $40. And then for it to go down to $1... for 10 high end lipsticks... yeah this was awesome. I got one of the Liquid Lipstick sets and one of the Lipgloss sets. And I got a lipgloss set for my sister. EVERYONE I work with had at least 2 on hold. I think I had the lower number of just 3... most people had like 10 on hold cause it was just an insane deal.

More from Ulta

I did get more things from Ulta other than the colourpop things... Has anyone else been having a terrible time in Ulta stores lately? I went to 2 different locations lately and... they have like a million people out on the floor and NO ONE at the registers... so that just sucks. The one time I went someone had an issue with a return... and EVERYONE IN THE ENTIRE STORE went over to try and solve that problem... which I kind of get as someone that is training for retail management... but at the same time... NO ONE could have jumped on a register... and the person that was counting the people going in the store just went behind the counter and did nothing... so that was weird. Maybe she wasn't trained on register... but it was just weird and if it wasn't for the animal crossing makeup- I would have just put things down and left.

And then the time after when I went to Ulta- another woman had a return and they were being very nice to her... but also I had seen other poeple on the floor and no one helped me when I was at the register... so its like ugh.

Anyway I got the Catrice Self Made Bae Palette. I think I posted a Makeup Of The Day Post on this on Monday... hopefully I'm writing this before that one... but this is a really nice drugstore palette. It feels like high end. I actually made an Ulta order too because there was something else I wanted and I didn't want to go in the store... so I got the Insta Bae Palette online since I liked this one so much!

So the thing I really wanted online was the Urban Decay Naked Wild West Palette... I've been waiting to buy this one for a while because I was going to get it right when it came out... but I do prefer the Ulta point system to Sephora and they sent me a $15 off coupon that included prestige brands so... yeah. Still waiting on this one to arrive in the mail- but I love how it looks and I like the Naked palettes a lot!

Okay so back to what I got in the store. I got a Bath Bomb from Da Bomb and it was the Boujee Bomb. I think I liked the way the scent sounded and I don't want to say too much about it because I want to do a separate post on this once I actually use it and review it.

I also got some Dr. Teal's Foam Bath- I got the Sleepy Time one with Melatonin. This is a nice foam bath and I like using it with the Epsom Salts.

I always check the Maybelline Lipsticks just to see if anything catches my eye and I ended up getting the Colorstay Ultamatte lipstick in the shade Taupe... this is awesome. I love Maybelline Lipsticks and this is super easy to use and just a nice matte color. It's a similar format to their Stay Matte Lip Crayons- but it's more rounded. This is an awesome product that is either new or underrated... so check it out.

In line at the checkout I saw a Nyx Pencil Lip Liner in the color Tea and Cookies- and it's a pretty color... but I'd say don't buy this. It's not a great lip pencil... you can't really wear it on it's own... it kind of pills off... I'll still use it but I won't recommend it. Not the best.

Now back to a couple more things I ordered online- The Dr. Teal's Sleep Spray in the Melatonin scent. I have a few sprays from Bath and Body Works... but this one is really nice too. It smells just like the foam bath and epsom salts and... it's really good!

And I got the Tree Hut Sugar Shea Scrub. I had heard Jessica Braun raving about this and I think she said it stops little bumps from forming on her skin... so I wanted to try it and I think it works so far. It's very abrasive- yet feels gentle enough to not bother my skin. I think it's really good. I'd recommend trying it so far!
