Erstwilder x Terry Runyan collection
Alright so this collection has 2 things I like a lot of... dogs and Brown brooches... so I did pick up more than I've picked up from an erstwilder collection recently. I had a feeling I'd get a lot of use out of these and I do love dogs and there were a lot of cute dogs in this collection. And the other animals were cute too! So let's show off what I got.
These are the dog brooches I got. I believe they are a Pug, Brussels Griffin (Griffith?) daushaund and a Scotty dog. I love how cartoonish the pug and the dauschaund specifically. They also have a really pretty almost pearl like marble to them too. The pug reminds me a lot of the 101 Dalmatians tv show animation. I have only worn the pug and Brussels so far- but I'm excited to wear all of them!
These are the rest of the brooches I got! So far I've worn the Dinosaur, Toucan, and the bears. They're so cute! I especially love how the dinosaur looks on a black t shirt and I got a lot of compliments on the bear. I don't think my pictures are doing the bear and the iguana in the second picture justice. These are both so cute. I also really love the brown and grey brooches- I love how the neutrals go with colors or other brown outfits. I have a brown snail brooch that is oddly one of my favorites.
Terry Runyan is an artist from Kansas City- so it was good timing of the release with the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl! I don't know that Erstwilder collaborates with artists outside of Australia that often- I'm not that familiar with artists- but I think this one made sense. I'm pretty sure I've seen Terry Runyan's work before- she's famous for a lot of quirky cat pictures. There's one design that I didn't get- but it was a cat and a fish bowl but it was supposed to be a fortune teller with a crystal ball... that's brilliant. Her art is really cute. She also has a YouTube channel and she teaches stuff on skillshare about the art world... so that's cool!
Alright- that is everything I think I'm going to mention now! Hope you guys like this post- let me know if you want more collections like this!
Bye!
