Daise Review: Is Ulta’s cute new brand as good as Tree Hut???

Okay so you guys should know I really like the brand Tree Hut. I use their scrubs on my feet every day after work basically and I really like their body wash too. I don’t really use their other products much- but I like seeing their seasonal collections and overall I think they do a great job. When I saw the brand Daise at Ulta I got excited because it’s another very similar brand and it is a little less expensive than a full priced tree hut item.

I just got their foaming body wash and body scrub. I would like to try their mists- but I was buying it online and I wanted to make sure I liked the smells first… also their mists are a little different than the scents of their sprays- so I’ll talk about that in a little bit too.

The scrub I think is great- this is their most expensive product at 7.49- which I think is the price Tree Hut Scrubs are on sale. I feel like it makes my skin just as soft as the tree hut scrub does. I just used it and it feels really soft right now.

I got the cherry scent for this and the shower gel and it doesn’t smell like cherrys. It’s more like a cherry blossom type of smell- which I also like but I was hoping it would smell like cherries.

Anyway while the scrub is good I had a harder time using the foaming body wash. I don’t like using it in the shower- I just really like using it in the bath. I feel like I need to use a lot of it before I actually feel clean.

Lately I’ve been showering before work and then just kind of taking a small bath after to shave my legs and use a little extra soap. This works well for that or just for baths but it isn’t my favorite overall. It’s only $5 and it does feel nice on my skin… but I don’t think I’ll be purchasing any more of these.

I should also note: I’ve tried using this to shave with- and it’s too thin it doesn’t really make a good shaving cream.

Also one reason I didn’t try the spray yet is because they don’t have one that matches the cherry scent. They also have cute packaging but I feel like the scents might be a little bit mature- which is odd. I wanted to get one for my niece but my Ulta didn’t have the Vanilla coconut spray and all the other sprays seemed a little grown up for someone under 10. They have Raspberry and Mint, Vanilla and Coconut, Rose and Sandalwood, Berry and Mandarin, Grape and Amber, and Pear and Patchouli. I didn’t see any testers at my Ulta- but I did think it was weird that the sprays didn’t match the other products in the line and that they have kind of mature scents for such cutesy packaging.

So yeah overall- I would buy the scrub again and I would consider trying the spray… but I’m a little confused by the line as a whole and I’m not really sure how I feel about it.
