Cute Date Idea

So as you might be able to tell from my posts this week... I've been into Records lately. And so has my boyfriend Aspen... so we have fun when we go to Record Shops.

The Biggest and most famous record store by me is Jack's Music Shoppe in Red Bank... they have lots of records, cds, they even have casette tapes and they sell DVDS, Books, Sheet Music, Instruments... they sell a bit of everything and it's just a fun place to explore and I pretty much always leave with something.

Even if you don't have a record player- a lot of record stores have record players where you can listen to the opened records that they have and see if you like them before you end up buying them. So they have 50 cent singles there and they have this really nice, easy to use record player that you can listen to them on and see if you like them. The only bad thing is the record player doesn't have speakers- but they have headphones. You don't really have to wear the headphones to hear the records- you can turn them all the way up and just listen to the music. The 50 cent singles they had were actually really cool. I guess they get them from a company or something- so they have some bands I've never heard of and never would have known- but they also have some from famous people. I got one from Gloria Estefan and he got one from Nat King Cole... and they sounded amazing.

So overall this was just a fun date day. A nice way to support local businesses if you have a record shop in your area... and we found some good music from it so... overall really good wins.
