Coffee Of The Day: Chestnut Praline at Home
Okay- I've been trying to recreate my favorite Starbucks drink at home... and this doesn't quite taste exactly like it- but it's pretty good.
I didn't measure anything exactly- so keep that in mind.
I put a bit of milk and some gingerbread coffee mate creamer in my mug and I heated it up for 10 seconds to make it easier to froth. Once it was heated up- I put about a pump of Torani brown sugar syrup and a pump of butter pecan syrup. Then I used my frother to froth it up. It did froth pretty nicely.
After that I brewed a Cinnabon k cup to get that cinnamony flavor. I should have probably brewed that in a different mug so that I could top the coffee with that foam- but it still tasted pretty good. After that I tasted it- wasn't quite sweet enough so I pumped a bit more butter pecan in it... and that actually gave it more of the chestnut flavor.
This tastes really really good. I think these two syrups might be my new favorites. If you like Cinnamon Dolce or the chestnut praline... this is for you.
I also thought about topping it with whipped cream and maybe some cinnamon- I need to try to get those candies they top the chestnut praline with lol but this was really really good.
Bye!
