Boston Duck Tours
Okay- back to my Boston Blogs! One of my favorite tours to take are the Duck tours in Boston Massachusetts! These are so much fun and you get to see a lot about the city. Not just the history of Boston- but you can see newer things that they have also. On my first duck tour we saw a Curves Gym that was closed next to a very busy Dunkin Donuts... It's a quirky city and its always fun to see the different quirks and what the tour guides find interesting to talk about and mention.
The Narrators usually have some sort of character also- I don't remember the characters on my first duck tours- ours this time was a Shakespearean actor who was rejected by Shakespeare or something. He was very funny and he just did a great job talking about the history and about all the things in the city. We didn't quack that much at the people nearby us... but I don't know that I ever have quacked on the duck tour.
They also let you drive the duck boat when it goes in the water! It's so cool to go in the water with the boat- and my boyfriend and I both took a turn at driving it. When I was in middle school and I went on the duck tour I also drove the duck boat- so you can at any age... in reality though the driver is still 100% in control- but you do get to steer and they give you a sticker and a tiny toy duck. I love ducks- so I loved these things.
The other tour in Boston that I really love and totally think is worth going to are the Ghosts and Gravestones Ghost tour. We didn't do that this trip because we were staying a little bit far from Boston and the tours start pretty late- but I would totally go again. I went when I was a kid and it's all very interesting- there's a lot of history and you go to some really cool locations and gravestones. It isnt' a ghost hunting tour- or at least it wasn't when I've gone... but that also sounds fun.
So that's my experience this time on the duck tour in Boston. I got tickets online and I got tickets with the Boston Aquarium tickets also- which I can talk about too... I don't remember how much it was for 2 adults to do that- but it was a lot of fun and totally worth the price. And the Aquarium was only $25 with the tickets.
Bye!
