Book Review: Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner
So I wanted to read a sapphic romance and I wanted to read something with spice- and I heard this is a good spicy rom com… and it was also one of the funniest rom coms I think I’ve ever read- at least in a while. Just overall this is one of the best books I’ve read this year I think so I highly recommend it… even if you aren’t into spice scenes- it’d be hard to skip the spice… but it’s still funny enough that it might be worth it.
The plot of this book is that Cassie is a college student and she hooks up with this beautiful older woman when she’s at a bar near her college. She’s the hottest woman Cassie has ever seen… the next day Cassie goes to meet her best friends mom for breakfast… who just happens to be Erin, the woman she hooked up with.
Since they’re secretly hooking up, the spicy scenes take place kind of in different places- and I think that’s something people like about the book.
The ending is also really cute and I liked it a lot. The story as a whole was great. There were some fights in the middle and things where you just want everything to be happy… I also took a while to get into reading the book too. I still really liked it overall and if you’re looking for a sapphic romance I’d say pick this up for sure.
Bye!
