Best Beauty of 2022

Okay guys... 2022 is the Year of Sephora for me. Also the year of trying luxury makeup and the day I really kind of started and stayed pretty up to date with a skincare routine! I still love a good drugstore find- but I just buy what's good and what works for me.

One Size Beauty Primer

I forget what exactly it's called but it was the blurring primer from One Size Beauty. It works really well I've been using it up and I think I'm almost out of it... and now I wonder if I should get another or try something different... hmm.. but yeah I just like having a base for foundation and this one is great!

Elf Halo Glow Foundation

So this foundation is just the best... there are a lot of good foundations- but this one is probably the best. And it's so affordable! I've had more luck with drugstore foundations than high end ones lately... this one is the best though. 100% recommend!

KVD Good Apple Foundation Balm

I used to only use cream foundations and then I switched to liquid... but I wanted to try a cream again- and this one is great! The only thing is I feel like the quantity of this probably isn't worth the full price of it. But if you get it half off- this isn't bad!

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand and Highlight Wand

I tried the shade Peachgasm a few months ago because it was all over TikTok and I needed it... and then I got the holiday set that had Pinkgasm and a highlight with it... and I really like all of them. I've been using the highlight wand like nonstop lately... these are hyped for a reason- I like these!

The Purple Essence Lash Princess Mascara

Essence is a great drugstore brand. I tried some new drugstore makeup this year- but Essence stuck out a lot. The best mascara for my eyes is the purple lash Princess mascara. It holds a curl so well and it just works really really well. I have long lashes already but this really makes it look long.

Tower 28 Highlight Balm

This is really good! This is so natural but it still gives such a nice glow! I have a feeling this product isn't for everyone- but I really really loved using it this year!

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyes to Mesmerize Eyeshadow Palette

I love the big Charlotte Tilbury Palettes. I used this one a lot this year- very natural and just fun to come up with looks for. I recommend this one.

Huda Beauty Empowered Palette

This might be my favorite Huda Beauty Palette. This is so nice and it's just really easy and fun to come up with looks for. It's been a while since I've used this one- but I do really love it.

Danessa Myricks Colorfix Cheek, Lip and Eye Pigment

I love these for all three of those things! I tried quite a few of these this year because I like having cream eyeshadows but it's also easy to use for lipgloss or on the cheeks... these are really good on the eyes though and that's how I use it the most.

Victoria Beckham Beauty

Everything I tried from this brand was really good so I'm just mentioning it all together and I'll probably buy some more with my Christmas Money. I got 2 little eye palettes, 2 of their Bitten Lip Tints and one of the eyeliners... all really good. The eyeliner is the creamiest easiest to use eyeliner ever. The lip balms are so nice and just look natural and pretty and I really love the eyeshadows. It's expensive- but all in all I love these products!

The Ordinary Skincare

I think I need to do a skincare routine soon... I might have posted it last year and it hasn't changed much- but I use 3 products from The Ordinary. The Aha Moisturizer, Serum and I use the Caffeine Eye Serum. All really good!

Dior Amber Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette

This palette is so so good! I splurged around my birthday and got the Amber Neutrals palette from Dior... and I love it! I used it for my cousins wedding... I thought it might be too orange- but it's a nice neutral palette.

Essence Eyeshadow Palettes

I've tried a lot of Essence eyeshadow palettes and they're awesome. I would recommend pretty much any of them! The little ones are so nice and easy to use and they have a MIRROR which is awesome. I liked their Disney collaboration and I like the new palettes they have from different places. I think I have a London palette, a Miami palette... these are just a really good drugstore palette.

Colourpop Eye Primer

I really like this! I used to use the Nars eye primer and then it stopped working, the Juvia's Place primer is pretty good- but it gets kind of watery... but I really like this Colourpop one. I used one up in Translucent and I liked the Caramel one that I just got.

Dior Lip Addict Lip Balm and Lip Oil

Again I just really like Dior this year. The lip balm is kind of my go to because it actually helps my lips and it looks really pretty and natural. The lip oil feels nice too and it looks pretty and makes my lips look full.

Replica Fragrances

Replica had a pretty good sale on fragrances this year and I got 2 that I really liked. I got a full size of By The Fireplace and Autumn Vibes- I had smaller sizes of this. By the fireplace is probably my favorite... especially for this time of year! It's just so warm and cozy feeling. I love it!

Billie Eillish Fragrance

This is another one I really like! I got this from the Ulta Sample kit- it came with a $15 off coupon and this one was my favorite. It smells really nice and sweet and I just really like it a lot!

Cloud fragrance by Ariana Grande

This is my most complimented fragrance that I wear for sure. I use the cloud intense. This isn't something I just tried this year but it's always a favorite!

Native Deodorant

I just tried this recently- I don't usually like stick deodorant but this one is really good. I have a funny story about Native deodorant- but I'm going to save that for a short blog post that I'll have in January about a New Jersey Celebrity Sighting that my boyfriend and I had recently.

Truly Beauty Products

I really like the Truly products that I have! I don't like the names... but I've tried the boobie butter, the butt butter and the butt serum... they work! Also is it Boobie or Booby? They're usually talked about in a pair so I'm confused...

Cremo Shaving Cream

This is a men's shaving cream... that works awesome for women! It gets a really close shave and it's just so nice and easy to use. The scented ones work really well.

And that's it! This is a lot!!! I hope to find some good new products in 2023. I'd like to maybe retry some things I haven't used in a while again... I'm dying to try the L'Oréal truematch Lumi foundation again. And yeah! Let's hope this is exciting!
