Beauty Sales and Other Stuff Haul

Alright.. the 21 days of Beauty came and went- Sephora had a Labor Day Sale, Colourpop had a labor day sale... I got some great makeup and beauty products from the store I work at... so I've just been buying a lot of makeup, using a lot of makeup and... so far I've found some winners!

Sephora

I'll start with Sephora because I have the least amount of things from here... but everything I have so far is really good.

One thing that wasn't on sale- but it shipped for free and I had to get it when I found out about it is the Sephora Favorites Black Owned Beauty Kit. This has a full sized Pat McGrath Lipstick and Fenty Beauty Mascara as well as deluxe sized samples from a lot of other brands including Briogio... I forget what else but I wanted to try some of these items- I wanted to support the Black Owned brands at Sephora and I was excited about this! I haven't gotten it in the mail yet- I just ordered it yesterday I'll talk about this in a whole post dedicated to just this once I use the products... but yeah I'm excited for this one.

Then some sale items I got the Nudestix Tinted Cover Foundation. This had been sitting in my loves list forever- and it went on sale so I was like... yep I need to try this and I really love it! It's so easy to use and it covers really well and stays on well... I've been using this a lot since I've gotten it and I'm a fan.

Another thing I've been wanting for forever is the Benefit Cheek Stars Reunion Tour Face Palette. I have loved this so far too! Today I used the Hoola Bronzer, the Sugarbomb Blush and the Cookie Highlighter and it just looked so nice on... I really liked it all together a lot. The packaging is cute too- but mine fell out of the cardboard already... so that kind of sucks but I still like it a lot.

I also got something for my friends that was on sale for $15... I don't want to say what it is because I'll probably talk about that closer to Christmas but... they did have an offer that if you spent $50 you could get 500 bonus points- which is actually $10 off a future purchase... so since I was already thinking of getting this thing for them- I decided to go with that offer. I ordered 3 of the same colors- and they sent me one of a different color. I wanted to exchange it in the store- but they don't carry the product right now... and they kind of acted funny when I brought it in... even though I had the receipt and everything... idk it was weird. I was debating getting a different shade for one of my friends that I think would be more likely to wear purpley shades than bronzey shades... so I think I'm going to give her the purpley shade instead. But anyway with that I needed to spend $5 more- so I got myself a Melting Lip Clicks Lip Balm and I think I got the shade Caramel. This looked nice on my lips and felt nice. It's a Sephora Brand product... and I just kind of bought it because I needed $5 more for the offer and this is something I know I'd use... so I was impressed with it!

Ulta

Honestly... I forgot all that I got so I'm working backwards from Ulta's website... and i ordered some things from Ulta at Target also... but I'm starting with the Ulta Ulta things.

So I ordered the Kiehl's Recovery Sleep Set. This came with a small size of their Midnight Recovery Concentrate and the Cleansing Oil. This smells really nice and so far I really like it! It also came with an eye mask!

And the same day the Buxum Primer Infused Blushes were on sale so I got one in the shade Mykonos... I don't love this shade as much as I thought I would! I figured I'd get the shade with the Greek city since I'm Greek... but I'm just not sure about it.

The Kiehls also came with a free toner... so that was good!

I got the Mac Matte Lipstick in Honeylove- I think this was the first thing I bought... and idk where I put it. I love Mac lipsticks and this is a nice fall color!

From Target I got the No. 7 Tinted Skin Perfector in the shade Light. I didn't know this was tinted- despite it saying Tinted and I got the dark shade when I first got it... so I returned it and ordered the light shade online because they didn't have it in my store. This is good. I heard Taylor Wynn rave about this being a great perfector... at first I didn't love it but I actually think it feels really nice as a primer. I guess this was just Target not Ulta at Target- but still!

And I got the Ulta 3 in 1 cheek palette in Santorini Sun. This is a really pretty cheek palette that's easy to use and I like it a lot. I like my other one a lot too but this is a bit easier to use I guess. I like it a lot.

And I got the KVD Beauty Matte Liquid Lipsticks. I used to really like these- then I felt conflicted about Kat Von D who used to own the brand... she no longer owns it so I decided to try these again. I got the shades Lolita and Lolita 2 and Bow and Arrow. These are all good on their own and they work mixed together or with other things too.

Other Things

The Buxom Full Force Plumping Lipsticks were on sale during the 21 days of beauty- but I saw them on a better sale so I got the shade Supermodel and this might be my new favorite lipstick. It's so good.

I remember Cargo used to be a big brand on youtube... I remember Tati raved about their Vintage Escapes Palette for a long time... I got their Away We Go Palette... and I love it! the shades are so nice and easy to work with! I was super impressed with this- its beautiful. Will totally buy more from Cargo.

I also got a Bareminerals Gen Nude Palette in the shade Rose. This is not that rosey- but it is really good. I have another one on hold called Copper that I think I might like better... but this is nice.

The Covergirl Ascension Palette... I've never heard of this- but when I saw it in store I was like "okay... lets try this!" And it was pretty good. I used it once so far- it didn't last that long on my eyes but it looked pretty it worked fine. Not the best- but it was good. I still think I'll go into more detail on this sometime after I use it more cause its a weird one.

Then I got the Sephora Brand Illuminate Palette. This isn't as nice as I thought it looked- but it's still pretty nice! And for the price I got it for I really liked it.

They also had Epsom Salts that came in a glass skull... and my 2 favorite things are skulls and Epsom Salts so... I had to get this. It was rose scented and I don't love the rose scent... but it felt really good and I liked using it with my Dr. Teal's Lavender Bath Oil. And now I've used it all up and I have a nice Glass Skull that I can decorate... so win win!

Colourpop

I almost forgot about my colourpop order! I think I'm going to order from Colourpop again soon because I want the Hocus Pocus Palette... but they had some Sol Body products I wanted to try on sale and I got some other things too... so yeah!

I got the Down To Earth quad. This is an all matte quad but it looks like it could be a nice fall palette and I've heard their mattes blend nicely... so hopefully this is good.

Then I got the Pink Champagne Body Highlight from Sol Beauty. This is a powder highlight so you can use it wherever... but it looks like a nice pinky color that I think cold work on the face as well.

I got the Pink Champagne Glow Oil also. This one is a full size. I used it on one of my arms and I love the way it smells and it blends out really nicely.

I got the Sangria Shimmering Dry Oil Mini. This is similar to the Glow Oil. I need to use it more before I give a full opinion really cause I just got these today.

And I got the Body Kabuki Brush- which I used with the oils... so that was good too.
