August Favorites 2021

Alright so this is kind of my monthly favorites... but some of them I might have been using for more than a month and some might have been less.

Alright let's talk eye palettes... I have a few. The Hard Candy Look Pro! Eyeshadow Palette in Blushful Nudes. This is a really pretty palette that is easy to use and it has a lot of variety. It's under $10 too. I don't go to Wallmart very often- but they have some really good makeup there and I'm starting to like Walmart more now so... this was a good pick.

Another favorite lately has been the Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Palette. I just had this on my desk and I wanted a nice fall look and this had it! It's such a pretty palette and I feel like there are so many looks you can do with it. This one is more of a weekly favorite type but I haven't really put it down in a week or so.

I have a couple of blush and highlight picks for the moment. I've been using a lot of cream products lately and my favorite is probably the Makeup By Mario Dusty Rose Stick Blush. This is just so easy to use and I like that there's a brush on the one side so it's so so easy to blend out. It's really nice!

And as far as cream highlight goes- I've really liked the Benefit High Beam. It's really nice and easy to use and it looks natural and it just works really really well.

And the other cheek favorite is the Elf Bite Sized blush duo in Watermelon. The blush and highlight in this are just so so pretty! They go with every look- they last a long time... and it's only like $3... so it's amazing for the price!

A fragrance I just bought but I really really like it is the Replica fragrance in Coffee Break. It's such a nice scent that smells like coffee and it's just sweet and... it doesn't 100% smell like coffee but it's really good. I might buy a full size of this... I also know there's a brand called Alt Fragrances that specializes in fragrance dupes for really luxury brands... and I might buy that instead because Replica fragrances are $135... and that's a lot of money. So... I'm not sure about that- but... I want some fuller size of this fragrance.

I've also really been liking my Colourpop Lippie Pencils. I got the Nude set that they sold around National Lipstick Day and I've been using those a lot. Usually for lipstick I use my Catrice Powerful Lip Care in the shade Sparkling Guava, the Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Teddy Bare and the Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Lipstick... I think I have the color More Mauve- but I'm not sure and I definitely want to pick up some more too. It might be More Taupe... I'm not sure. I also used Velvet Teddy from Mac recently and I liked that a lot too.

So those are my favorites! I kind of used a lot of the same stuff this month so I feel like I don't have as much as the last time I did a monthly favorites... and I also haven't been as consistent with my Weekly favorites- so some of these are kind of what I'd put in those favorites... but yeah! This was fun!
