April TBR: 6 Books I would Like To Read in April
Alright- so I think my goal for 2022 is to read 75 books… and I think I can do that by reading at least 6 books a month… so if I read more than that cool… but this is what I’ve got on my list for now.
First up I’m currently reading Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas. I think I can finish this pretty quickly… it’s 324 pages which isn‘t too too long and this is a pretty exciting book. I dnfed it last month because I was trying to read it on my lunch break and it didn’t work all that well for my lunch break- so I figured I’d put it down for the month and come back to it this month and so far I think that’s working. I haven’t read too much of it yet- but I want to read more already.
I also started reading The Unhoneymooners by Christina and this is what I’m currently reading on My lunch break. I’ve only read one chapter so far- but I really love it. I like all of the irony and… I have a feeling I’m just going to like Christina Lauren’s writing style and characters. I have some more books by them and… just by the first chapter I’m excited to read more.
I also want to read Beah Read by Emily Henry this month. I just read People We Meet on Vacation last month and Book Lovers comes out next month- so I want to read Beach Read before Book Lovers comes out. I loved People We Meet on Vacation and I’ve heard soo much better things about Beach Read that I’m just really excited about it.
I’d also like to read one Coleen Hoover Book a month and I think this month I’m going to read It Ends With Us. This one is one I keep hearing about and I know there’s a sequel and a movie coming out for this… so I’m excited to read it!
My book of the Month Book for April was Kaikeyi by Vaishnavi Patel. I‘ve heard so many good things about this book and the cover of it is absolutely beautiful. I know it is a retelling of a tale based on mythology. I forget what country the story is from… but I’m excited to learn more about Kaikeyi and her story. I’m trying to read different mythology books. I know a lot about Greek Mythology- but I want to learn more about that and more about different mythological tales from other countries too.
And last but not least- my next book to read on my lunch breaks will probably be A Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson. I have a feeling I could read this book really fast and… it just seems like a fun book to start on my lunch break.
If I Get to them…
Some books I would like to read if I get to it…
The Fine Print by Lauren Asher looks really really good. I just got that this month and I’d love to read that. Terms and conditions sounds even better... but I’m just so excited for these books. They’re thick but… they‘re supposed to be really good... so I’m excited.
I also just finished Addicted to You and would like to read Ricochet soon and Addicted for Now. I like this series a lot… but like Ricochet is so so short and then Addicted for Now is HUGE! I need to start some of those books soon.
I think that’s everything I’m going to mention for now. I could probably think of a bunch more honorable mentions… but these are what I’m thinking of the most right now.
Bye! -Shannon
