A Quick Trip to Salem Massachusetts in June
Okay- so it wasn't spooky season that I went to Salem- but my boyfriend and I did get a chance to go and we didn't do any touristy things- but we had so much fun!
We just went on a quick trip- so we didn't do any of the museums or memorials- I've been to those before and I feel like I wasn't that impressed with it at the time... but I appreciated Salem more this time going. I did get sick the last time I went to Salem so that could have had something to do with it... but this visit was great!
There was a lot of art and a lot of really cool shops around. I bought a book at one shop that was connected to another shop and the author of the book was working at the other shop- so I just went right there and she signed the book for me! It was very cool! I also was able to get a Witch Hat- which I was really excited about! I had always wanted to get one from Facebook and now I have one I'll wear this spooky season!
One thing I was excited to see was this Marks Brother statue which my parents also have this when they had one of their earlier christmases together where they got each other tons of appliances and expensive things not knowing how Credit Cards work... this was in a Cigar Store lol.
We also went to Modern Millie which was exciting because I collect Erstwilder and they were the first place I went to in store that actually sells Erstwilder. Unfortunately they did not have the collection that released the day before and there was nothing else I really wanted there... they were so nice there though and I would love to go back. Totally recommend stopping in!
We also went to the Witch City Mall and that had all of the TMNT Universal Monsters Figures that my boyfriend needed to complete his collection- so that was really a fun find! They had stuff from Across the Spiderverse also- so I got a mini funko pop of The Spot and one of the mystery keychains- and I got Spider Man 2099! So that was cool.
Then we went to Boston after and did the Aquarium- which I'll talk about next week I think!
Bye!
