5 Songs of February
Okay so last month I did this for 5 songs that somehow impacted my January and I've got 5 songs for February too.
1)Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder- this is happy and sad because at my job there was a choreographed dance for someone who is leaving our store... and we're all very sad about it because she's the best... but yeah I wasn't in this dance- but we have a lot of choreographed dances for things.
2) Breakfast in America by Supertramp- So this is a great song, I've heard a lot of Supertramp on the radio lately and when I told my boyfriend he was like "ohh breakfast in America is a great album. We should listen to it." And we did and it is a great album. If I understood the radio correctly it was supposed to be conversations between friends- and they were going to title it Hello Stranger- but then they thought calling it Breakfast in America was better.
3) Layla by Eric Clapton- omg Eric Clapton is really good. I remember when I was a little kid I was in the car with my dad and he had an Eric Clapton album on and after hearing My Father's Eyes I was upset because I didn't really listen to the song and I asked my dad if he could go back... and he did. So that's the first memory I have of like wanting to listen to a song again. I heard Layla today and that's a great song too.
4) New Perspective by Panic! At The Disco- I heard this song in a TikTok about these stuffed peeps that look like emo kids that they're selling at Walmart and THAT is an underrated Panic! At The Disco song. This song was on the Jennifer's Body Soundtrack- which I need to have a post on in the near future because- I loved Jennifer's Body as soon as I saw it... but I loved the soundtrack even before that and... I need to listen to it again.
5) Kill Bill by Sza- So this isn't my favorite song of the month but it was one that I heard on TikTok and heard on the radio and I never really listened to the lyrics- and after hearing the lyrics a little better on the radio I was like "ohhh that's why this is called Kill Bill" so I listened to it again... and that was the song I listened to out of curiousity and not knowing the lyrics this month!
Bye!
