13 Days of Halloween: Trick r Treat

Okay… so I kind of think this movie was overhyped… I actually didn’t like it that much… but at the same time I was actually scared by it... which doesn’t happen often in horror movies.

So… everyone in this movie is kind of a villain and at the same time… sort of no one gets what they deserve but also everyone gets what they deserve. This is an anthology movie that centers around 4 main stories that all sort of connect... some of them are too short and some of them just kind of drag on a little too much. Plus the only character I was even kind of rooting for was Anna Paquin’s Laurie.

Overall I liked the look of it. I liked Sam and all of the Jack o Lantern’s. There were some kind of funny moments too…. but they were kind of really disturbing right after… it was interesting to watch… but it’s just not my thing. I don’t get the hype.

There was a lot of foreshadowing and it’s something that you should watch twice just to get what you didn’t pick up on the first time… but I have no interest in watching this again. I can see why people like it- but I just think it’s a bit overhyped.

Alright- sorry for this downer of a review but… I was excited for this and it fell short… but still scared me a bit lol.
